We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Schanell Sanders a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Schanell, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

Schanell Marie Carol was born December 28th, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Schanell was raised in Columbus, Ohio where she went to study Criminology and Spanish Education at the Ohio State University. WilberForce University, and the University of Cincinnati. Schanell first begin her adult film career in 2005. After conquering the adult entertainment industry by producing and directing Schanell retired in 2014. Schanell transitioned into a successful entrepreneur. Carol uses her platform and life story to empower women and men, showing them how she has fought through sacrifices, and lifestyle choices made at a young age. With a featuring role on the STARZ hit TV hit series “POWER” Schanell has set an example of how to transition and leveraged her business-mindset, bilingual abilities and entertainment experience to accomplish her dreams.

She is the Founder & CEO of M & S Sanders Trucking Company, a real-estate investor, book author and has recently launched her new fragrance line, “Untold Truth”. THE Untold Truth fragrance project is in partnership with Macy’s and can be purchased at select Macy’s stores around the country.
