SB , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Since a young kid growing up, I always had a niche for fashion, & I always wanted to have & own my very own clothing brand. In December of 2017, I met the love of my life, that’s now my wife of 2yrs & we’ve been together for 5yrs now. I based my clothing brand name on finding TRUE LOVE. That’s how I came up with TRULOVE CLOTHING BRAND. My wife heard me saying I wanted to start my own clothing brand, So 1 day, she surprised me with everything I needed to get started on my own. She bought me a touch screen desktop, a Cricut machine, & the Cricut heat press & from there on, I was able to create masterpieces of my clothing line. I wanted to introduce something fresh & new to the clothing brand scene & I think my brand alone stands out. The logo & meaning behind the brand makes people interested & they love hearing the story on how we met & how I came up with the concept of the clothing line.

I’m A 38yr Old Wife, Entrepreneur, Business Owner, Clothing Designer, & Clothing Brand Guru. I Got Into The Clothing Design/Owning A Brand Industry Just The Love I Have Always Had For Fashion. My Clothing Brand’s Collection Carter’s To Adults, Youth, & Small Children. I Wanted To Create A Clothing Brand That The Whole Entire Family Can Wear, Because At The End Of The Day The Back Story Of My Clothing Brand Relates To “LOVE” & Love Is Family & Family Is Love. What Sets Me Apart From Others Is That I’m A GO-GETTER & A Person That Can Make Things Happen Without Hesitation. I’m A Hard Worker At Any & Everything I do. I Don’t Take “NO” For An Answer, EVER! . I’m Most Proud Of How Far I’ve Came All On My Own Without Any Guidance or Handouts From Others. I DiD My Own Research When It Came Time To Actually Go Full Throttle With The Idea & That’s The Best Feeling In The World, Knowing I Accomplished This By Myself. I Would Like For My Old & New Clients, Followers, & Fans To Know That I Appreciate Them All❤️… Whether You’ve Purchased 1 Item or 10 Items Of Clothing From My Clothing Collection, I Still Appreciate All The Support & Love That Has Been Shown & Also That I’m Working On New Visions/ Outlets For The Clothing Collection & I Can’t Wait To Show Off The Lastest Clothing Collection Coming Soon.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I’m From Charleston, SC Where Everyone Basically Knows Everyone Already, So It Was Easy For Me To Build An Audience Locally Because People Already Knew Who I Was & For Those Who Didn’t Then Social Media Kind Of Helped Along The Way Of Me Connecting With People Who Lived Maybe 2 to 3 Hours Away From my Hometown. I Also Used Facebook Ads To Run My Clothing Brand Ads With So That Way Everyone In All 50 States & Different Countries Would Be Able To See My Clothing Brand Ad Being Displayed On Facebook At Any Given Time. It Was 1 Of The Best Decisions I’ve Ever Made. My Advice For Anyone Who’s Just Starting To Build Their Social Media Presences Would Be To Just Stay Consistent & Don’t Give Up.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I Think It Was Easy For Me To Build A Good Reputation In The Clothing Brand Market, Because My Clothing Brand’s Style Is Different & Unique From Any Other Clothing Brand. The Backstory Of My Clothing Brand Alone Sets Me In A Different Bracket When It Comes To Different Clothing Lines. A Real True Love Story Is my Backstory For My Clothing Brand & That Alone Speaks Volumes.
