We were lucky to catch up with Savion Reed recently and have shared our conversation below.

Savion, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

I knew I wanted to pursue a creative path when I used to watch people on YouTube and Disney Channel. Seeing them doing what they loved and inspiring others made me think, “That’s what I want to do.”
At the same time, I saw so many people around me who didn’t believe they could chase their dreams or make something big happen for themselves.
That stuck with me, and I told myself, “I want to be the one to show them it’s possible.”
I want to inspire as many people as I can and prove that if you go for it, your goals aren’t out of reach. Watching those creators and performers gave me that spark, and now I want to be that spark for someone else.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

For those who may not know me, my name is Savion—a content creator, model, artist, and fashion lover. I’ve always been drawn to creativity, especially growing up with my dad, who’s a photographer, so I was always in front of the camera. That’s where my love for creating content began. Watching people on YouTube turn their passions into real careers pushed me to do the same.

I focus on fashion, lifestyle, travel, and wellness. I share styling tips, product reviews, my own creations, and hygiene essentials, all while promoting confidence and self-expression. I also model and use my platform to encourage others that anything is possible. On my socials, you’ll find content like “get ready with me” videos, hygiene tips, day-in-the-life of a model, and travel vlogs.

What sets me apart is my authenticity. I always strive to keep my content real and relatable—everything I create is meant to feel genuine. I’m all about showing that you can be yourself, express who you are, and break barriers, no matter where you start.

I’m proud of building a platform where I can connect with people who share the same goals and ambitions. What really drives me is inspiring others to follow their dreams and know they can make it, too.

The main thing I want people to take away from my work is this: be unapologetically yourself. Through fashion, modeling, artistry, and lifestyle content, I’m here to show you that self-expression and confidence are key, and you can create something meaningful on your own terms.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

I had to unlearn caring too much about what people think. Growing up, I always wanted approval and would second-guess myself a lot. It wasn’t until I started putting myself out there more that I realized how holding onto that fear was holding me back. Once I stopped worrying about what others would say and just did me, I felt way more connected to who I am and the people who really vibe with me. Letting go of needing validation has honestly made a huge difference in how I create and grow.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

A time I had to pivot was when I lost my Instagram account. I had built up a decent following, and when my account got hacked, I couldn’t get it back. At first, it felt like a huge loss, but I decided to see it as a chance for a fresh start. I created a new account (@certifiedsavyy) and started from scratch, using what I’d learned to engage my audience more authentically. Losing that account showed me how important it is to stay adaptable and focus on building a strong, real community. It was a tough moment, but it made me more resilient and creative with how I approach my work.
