Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Savannah Stegall. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Savannah , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
My parents were polar opposite of each other. My mother a nurse and provided a stable living, my father was in and out of prison and struggled with addiction. However they both showered me with love in their owns ways, and supported any dream I had, including art.

Savannah , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I was born and raised in northern Arizona. I have always enjoyed art and graduated from flagstaff high school with several scholarships from art. I was a young mom of two and came to Phoenix to begin nursing school. It was then I began selling my art with a friend in first Fridays on Roosevelt row and the rest is history. I enjoy staying involved in local shows, creating art on my free time and supporting other artist events. I am an ER nurse at a central Phx hospital, and a mother so life can be busy. I am fortunate enough to have a customers who buy my art and attend events that I participate in.
My art consists of bright colors, attention to details and I usually aim to focus on themes. I use mediums such as acrylic, oil, graphite and charcoal.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is the ability to express myself, in any emotion, and create something that others can relate to and appreciate.
