We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Savannah Carlucci a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Savannah, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Before stepping into real estate, I worked in a client-facing role where I had the opportunity to help people and provide a valuable service. That experience shaped my ability to truly understand clients’ needs, communicate effectively, and guide them through important decisions. When I transitioned into real estate, I brought those skills with me, knowing that buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial and emotional decisions a person can make.
My mission is to provide a life-changing experience for every client I work with. I want them to feel heard, understood, and supported—like they have a trusted advisor and friend by their side. This process isn’t just about transactions; it’s about helping people find a place to call home or take the next step in their journey. While buying or selling a home can be stressful, my goal is to make it as seamless and exciting as possible, ensuring my clients feel confident and at ease from start to finish.
At the end of the day, it’s not just about closing deals—it’s about making a meaningful impact on people’s lives, and that’s what drives me every day in this business.
Savannah, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
For those who don’t know me, I’m a Colorado native with a deep love for this state and everything it has to offer. Before becoming a real estate agent, I worked for Geek Squad for several years, where I discovered my passion for helping people. That role taught me how to listen, problem-solve, and guide clients through sometimes overwhelming situations—skills that translated seamlessly into real estate.
Real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes; it’s about helping people navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives. Whether someone is moving to Colorado for the first time or looking for the perfect neighborhood to settle into, I love being able to share my local knowledge and ensure they feel confident in their decision. My goal is to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible, so my clients feel excited rather than overwhelmed.
What sets me apart is my commitment to making every client feel heard and valued. I take the time to understand their needs, offer honest guidance, and advocate for them every step of the way. This isn’t just a job to me—it’s a way to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives. Seeing my clients’ excitement when they find “the one” or successfully sell their home is incredibly rewarding, and I’m grateful to be part of that journey.
At the end of the day, my business is built on trust, relationships, and ensuring my clients have a positive, memorable experience. Whether you’re buying, selling, or just exploring your options, I want people to know they have someone in their corner who truly cares.
Alright – let’s talk about marketing or sales – do you have any fun stories about a risk you’ve taken or something else exciting on the sales and marketing side?
One of my favorite success stories was helping a wonderful family find their dream home against what felt like impossible odds. They were a larger family looking for a home near their daughter’s school, but their needs were very specific—they required a basement with a walkout entrance and a full kitchenette so that both parts of the family could have their own space while still being able to spend time together.
On top of that, they were using a Down Payment Assistance (DPA) program and had limited funds for upfront costs, including earnest money. While DPA programs are fantastic tools that open doors for homeownership, finding a home in their ideal location that met all their needs within their budget was incredibly challenging. We searched for weeks, but every option either lacked the right layout, was out of their price range, or didn’t check all the necessary boxes. To make things even more pressing, their lease was ending soon, so we were up against a tight deadline.
Instead of giving up or asking them to compromise, we took a strategic approach. We worked closely with the lender to increase their purchasing power by nearly $250,000—something they never imagined was possible. With this, we were not only able to find a home that met their original criteria, but one that exceeded their expectations. The home had more space, extra storage, a great yard for their dog—things they had mentally prepared to sacrifice just to get into a home.
Negotiating this deal took a lot of creativity and persistence. Our team collaborated with the lender and the listing agent to ensure everything aligned, and despite their financial limitations, we were able to structure an offer that worked for everyone. In the end, we secured the home just in time before their lease ended, and they couldn’t believe they were actually moving into a home that checked every box—and then some.
This experience reinforced why I love what I do. Seeing them settle into their dream home, knowing that it once felt out of reach, was incredibly rewarding. It’s proof that with the right strategy, teamwork, and programs like down payment assistance, homeownership is possible, even when it seems like the odds are stacked against you.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
One of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences I’ve had was helping a first-time homebuyer couple navigate an incredibly competitive market. They were searching for the perfect home to grow into with their family, but the area they were looking in was experiencing a frenzy of buyer activity. Every home we pursued had multiple offers, and many buyers were waiving inspections, offering significant appraisal gaps, and bidding well over the asking price—some by as much as $100K in cash.
My clients weren’t in a position to compete with those kinds of aggressive offers, nor did they feel comfortable stretching their budget beyond reason. Instead of letting the market discourage us, we went back to the drawing board. We re-evaluated options, expanded our search, and stayed proactive in touring new listings the moment they hit the market. Timing was everything—we needed to move fast to avoid losing out in another bidding war.
After countless showings and near misses, we finally found an incredible home—one that was even better than anything they had previously fallen in love with. Not only did we secure the property for them at a great price, but we were able to keep all of their inspection and appraisal contingencies intact, ensuring they were fully protected in their purchase. A year after closing, I had the chance to visit them, and they shared that they love their home even more now than they did on closing day.
This experience reinforced the importance of patience, persistence, and strategic thinking. The market was tough, but by staying resilient, adapting our approach, and keeping their best interests at the forefront, we were able to turn what felt like an uphill battle into a huge success. Moments like these are why I love what I do—helping people find not just any home, but the right home, even when the odds seem stacked against them.
