We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful SAURABH AHUJA. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with SAURABH below.
SAURABH, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
A long time ago, I was really concerned about my career and the work I had to do in order to live the life I wanted. However, my aim is now within reach. Yes, I have taken several risks throughout my career. I believe that risk is an inherent component of business. If you are truly committed to achieving your objective, you must take some minor risks. I’ve always attempted to take calculated risks because taking a life-changing risk could ruin my life, but God directed me to take one, so I did.
In college, I was confused about choosing between two careers: on the one hand, I was prepared for a career in finance, and on the other, I was extremely passionate about writing. When I left college, I worked for a number of companies in the finance industry while also writing poems, songs, and short stories. After five years in various finance-related professions, I’ve discovered that this is not the type of employment that interests me; writing has always been my passion. Then, I took the greatest risk of my life by deciding to become a full-time writer. Numerous people told me that this decision might destroy your life forever because you’re leaving five years of significant experience behind and entering a field where you must start from scratch; what are the possibilities of your success?
It turned out to be the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m glad I took this chance because I’m confident in my writing abilities. The way I develop concepts, songs, and scripts is unique and completely out of this world. It was a huge success, as one of my films, “The Guilt,” is already available on the OTT platform MX Player and has won 49 awards at film festivals across the world. Zee News recently ranked me among the 100 most influential people in India for 2022. Two of my songs are in the process of being released, and I am also writing a Hollywood thriller film whose shooting will begin in March 2023. Everything is going perfectly!
SAURABH, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am a poet, scriptwriter, dialogue writer, screenwriter, lyricist, editor, producer, and director—the winner of 28 Indian and 33 international awards. Many celebrities have given me awards and accolades, and my most recent film, “The Guilt,” has won 49 awards at film festivals around the world and is currently streaming on the OTT platform “MX Player”. I have been awarded 7 times as best director for my film “The Guilt” in different parts of the world. I was interviewed by HTX magazine in Houston, Texas. Recently, Zee News also ranked me in the “Top 100 influential people in India 2022.”
I specialize in content writing, editing, copywriting, script writing, screenplay writing, lyric writing, editing, and directing films. I am proud of my achievements and accomplishments, for which I have been awarded in different parts of the world, and they only became possible with immense hard work day and night.
We are entering the music industry this year with my Guruji’s songs and then coming up with a beautiful romantic track set in the 90’s. It has the power to become a rage overnight and will surely prove to be a very successful song with great repeat value. I am also writing a Hollywood thriller film, for which the shooting will start in March 2023, as well as in talks with one of the greatest production houses in India for my next.
My extraordinary writing skills, self-confidence, determination to accomplish my goals, never-die attitude, and ability to handle everything patiently are something that sets me apart from others.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Witnessing your own growth is one of the most enjoyable aspects of being an artist or creative individual. As an artist, everyone should respect his journey and the hardships he experienced to get to the throne; this is the only way to assess your career and witness your growth.
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.
There is no such thing as creative and non-creative. I believe that everyone is creative in their own work. Every worker who finds new ways to increase their work output and solve workplace issues can also be considered creative. My story’s moral is: Do what you are passionate about and believe in, and then you will understand there is no turning back. I am working in my favorite profession, which is writing. What about you, man?
