We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Saundra Nettles a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Saundra, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

I am a public speaker and my goal is to educated and motivate. I desire to help people of all ages to know what to do if the are faced to face with a criminal. Our country has become very dangerous even in schools and churches. Law abiding citizens should not be the victim of crime but be empowered to be able to leave home and come back with minimum incidents that they are able to handle or avoid. College campuses are also dangerous. Shopping malls as well as gas stations. I love equipping my clients with the rule of law but also how to create a safe environment event at home. If people know what to do hey are more likey not to panic and become a victim.

I have had several very dangerous encounters in my life even in date rape situations. Domestic violence is very prevalent now whether it’s senior abuse, child abuse or spousal abuse. If we can save lives by train people how to be prepared for untimely violent situations it will help eliminate untimely death, rape and robbery.

It’s time to Refuse to be a Victim.

Saundra Nettles is the owner of Fosnet Self Defense & Surveillance Systems, LLC and Action Coach. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administrative Services from NC A & T State University, She became skilled at teaching Self Defense Seminars to Corporations and Civic Groups upon Completing her Train through We Care America Training Institute Saundra is committed to teaching people what to do in the event they are faced to face with a criminal. The
seminars are informative, empowering and comical as we teach personal safety and self-defense to women, community civic clubs, company employees and youth. Crime Prevention is very key to our well-being whether at home, at work, in the park, parking lot or shopping. These seminars will empower the attendees and they will learn how to deal with a very dangerous situation by using non-lethal force by using safety devices as an alternative to fire arms.

We are living in a very volatile times like we have ever seen before. My goal is to help solve the safety problems in our community. I feel I am one of the best at what I do by offering solutions to protect citizens whether they are at work, traveling, or at home. Wisdom is the principal thing and it also applies to being safe with the capability to defend and protect yourself. My seminars and training is on being crime wise which essentially equips my clients and students how to avoid dangerous situations and what to do rather than only having the means to dial 911. What sets My company is apart because our motto is safety first and certainly does promote non-violence while maintaining the resolve of refusing to be a victim.

As a trainer in the Self Defense Industry my goal is to empower every day people who want to be street wise and home safe without having to take hours and hours of costly physical training. If you are in a fight and are unable to physically protect yourself there are alternatives. My company offers personal safety devises as well to give our clients the opportunity to escape rape or robbery.

I teach what can be done if people are in a vulnerable position at work, shopping, or at home.. if there is a plan, there is a way.

I stepped out of the boat and marketed my business on network TV. I learned a lot and believe that the investment paid off.

Networking in person. I travel all over the state and am connected with various professional groups to help promote my business
