Satin, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s been the best thing you’ve ever seen (or done yourself) to show a customer that you appreciate them?

Allowing my business to bless others and make other happy is my key focus. I believe the more I give back the more God will continue to bless my business with more clients. It always comes right on time!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I started taking my photography seriously after yet another company let me go for absolutely no reason except pride.

I then said I would put forth the hours effort and love towards what I enjoy. I’ve been blessed to do free maternity graduation shoots for single mothers. Free events just to practice and showcase my type of photography.

I’ve always made shirts with just iron letters and Tye dye since high school I just took it to a whole different level now!

What sets Satin images apart from other companies is I’m willing to work with my clientele! I’m willing to bless others with my services because I know what it’s like to want quality work but the rates are outrageous!

I am proud that I am able to render these services at reasonable prices! It makes my clients keep coming back!

If I could express one thing about my company to new customers I would love for them to know they are valued and I will always do my best to provide A+++ services!

We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.

Hustle runs in my family! I watched my father sell Tennis shoes dvds & CDs for years!

My mother would buy me bubble gum balls from horrocks! And I’d sell them for .25 cents at school! That was elementary! She also helped me paint and build up my own lemonade stand! Where I sold freeze cups candy and I was going to start hot dogs and pickels! High school I would do all the girls hair on free day in choir! $5 for the front $10 for the whole head! Hustle is in my bones! So my side hustles or hobbies as some say became my main source of income! When I finally became fed up with how companies have no value for hard working loyal employees.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

I had to learn that it’s good and bad customers. I had to unlearn giving them the same energy!

If I want my company to succeed I want to deliver the same energy to each client! GOOD ENERGY.

Backstory:
My recent client didn’t answer me in regards to what color and size she needed for her shirt. I had already completed her sons shirt! Which would’ve been a $40 shirt. I kept messaging her requesting information. She told me she was busy and we would continue the next day. I saw she was enjoying a night out at the club. In which she had no time to answer two simple questions. Finally I messaged her two days later and informed her of my departure out of Atlanta for a week. She then said did you make the shirts or give me my money back! She knew I made her sons shirt SHE POSTED IT ON HER PAGE!

So I reminded her of our conversation she then went off on me and told me to keep the money and the shirt.

I could have done so. But this isn’t how I operate regardless to how nasty a client can get I render all services paid for. So since I knew where she lived I went out of my way and dropped the shirt off when she finally wrote me thanking me for the shirt I asked for her number so I can send her the money back! I hope I planted a seed of be kind to all in her. I did my part and that’s all that matters!
