Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to SATHISH KUMAR S K. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
SATHISH KUMAR, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. One of our favorite things to brainstorm about with friends who’ve built something entrepreneurial is what they would do differently if they were to start over today. Surely, there are things you’ve learned that would allow you to do it over faster, more efficiently. We’d love to hear how you would go about setting things up if you were starting over today, knowing everything that you already know.
These are the measures I would have taken if I were starting my career over today to get there more quickly and effectively.
1. Recognising who I am, what my mission is, and where I need to direct my energy on a daily basis. In my opinion, this is the most crucial thing for an individual to recognise as soon as possible rather than relying on the ideas and opinions of others. We must first understand ourselves.
2. Once I know who I am, I just spend all of my mental and physical energy on improving in the field I love the most because so often we focus on things that don’t really matter. It may take some time for some people, but if you can figure out what you need, just concentrate on that.
3. Habit development should be started as early as feasible. Without a routine, life would be awful and you wouldn’t know what to do with the remainder of the day or the rest of your life.Routine will enable us to proceed in the right way when we feel like we are lost in the ocean by ourselves.
4. Clarity in life is crucial; without it, we can sometimes become lost. In order to attain the goal more quickly, it is crucial to have a defined goal and destination.
5. To reach your objective faster, networking and finding the perfect mentor are crucial. Never try to achieve everything alone; always assume that someone else is more capable than you.
Be careful to enlist their assistance and learn all you can from the mentor who will best assist you in achieving your objective. This will be the fastest approach to grow practical.

SATHISH KUMAR, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am an Indian concept designer and educator currently working as a senior environment concept artist and game art director in Madurai. In addition to my freelancing work, I also manage a Concept art school where I work with some of the most incredible instructors to teach young kids and professionals around the globe about Concept art.
Drawing was the sole activity that allowed me to feel calm, joy, and relaxation as a small child, therefore it only made sense that I would pursue art as a career. I’m extremely grateful of that.
I entered the entertainment business at the young age of 20 and have worked there for the past nine years. Due to my circumstances, lack of access to mentors, and lack of advice early in my career, it was a challenging path to follow.
I largely discovered my path through the use of trial and error and online resources. I consider myself fortunate to have been born in a time where resources are abundant everywhere.
I believe that my obsession and thirst for knowledge have led me to where I am now.
We work closely with directors and art directors to translate the game’s or movie’s vision into a visual medium, helping or inspiring other team members to present the finished product to the audience. mainly offer mentoring to younger students in this profession and concept art services.
As a creative concept art firm, we assist in problem solving rather than merely producing beautiful images. We assist in helping them develop the environments, characters, and levels that would work in the game or universe .
When we motivate the team and provide every project we work on our absolute best effort, we are proud of ourselves.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
The objective is to sketch something that I love every day, without caring about what others might think or expect from me. Drawing is the fuel for my creativity that keeps me going every day. Giving back to the community and helping people become better artists is a major objective as well. My everyday inspiration comes from teaching because it allows me to connect with many other artists from around the world.
My creative journey is therefore really driven by sketching, teaching, and networking.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Engagement and consistency are crucial when trying to grow a social media audience. Additionally, make an effort to assist people when they most needed it, even if it’s just with career advise.
Building an audience requires time, years of commitment, and patience to establish a solid foundation.
So proceed gradually and start from scratch. Everybody is different and has their own market; all you need to do is identify it and keep expanding there.
