Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Sasha Vargas Gregory. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Sasha Gregory, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
Dolphin Multimedia started when I decided to direct and produce a Spanish music video for a Reggaeton artist in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This video was my first ever paying job; I was the only female directing and producing in Puerto Rico then and was only 16 years old. I was excited to be sure, but it was a big risk that I was willing to take to do what I love!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I never knew I was going to be in this industry. I went to college for business management and worked at the University of Sacred Heart’s TV broadcasting channel; I realized how much I loved this industry. I started to learn about videography and photography and slowly network with amazing people in this industry that helped me learn and establish my business. When I moved to Charleston in 2007, I realized that I had moved to a wedding city and knew that I could be involved in a lot of people’s biggest days. That’s when my love for wedding photography and videography took off.
Dolphin Multimedia provides photography for many occasions and videography. We are currently dedicated to weddings and corporate events.
Four years ago, we started offering both videography and photography packages to make it easier just to book one company and save money, which sets us apart from others in this industry.
We are proud of our final products, cost, customer service, and communication.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Dolphin Multimedia has been in business for over 15 years, and we used to offer indoor sessions, but after a couple of years, we realized we wanted only to dedicate ourselves to outside sessions. This was a major pivot to our business.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Our dedication, communication, services, and final products build a strong reputation. This has helped us generate great referrals and testimonials.
