We were lucky to catch up with Sasha Quezada recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Sasha thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Just Yours Boutique was created because I wanted something of my own, and something that would give me the financial freedom to be with my kids. At first it started off as a jewelry shop, because I wanted to follow in my mom’s footsteps just with my own twist. Growing up my mother would sell jewelry at a local jewelry store for as long as I could remember.
The name itself came about one evening when my husband and I were outside on the front porch having a conversation while having some drinks. It clicked, and after thinking about it, we then looked at each other. Just Yours Boutique because the items are yours and made just for you.
Ever since then, it has turned into something much more than that. I now specialize in crafting custom made items such as apparel, accessories, drink ware, and party favors for both personal and company use. In business you have to pivot, and be able to adapt. So by offering items tailored to my clients needs along with sterling silver jewelry this is definitely what set me apart from the rest.
It’s exciting because not everyday is the same. Every order is different. Whoever shops from me can get something for their partner, their mother, their grandmother, their brother, their neighbor, etc. I think you get the picture. I take pride in being able bring someone’s vision to life, and be part of their special day. That’s what it’s all about for me honestly. The impact.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Sasha and I am a mompreneur from New York, but my heart is in Texas. I am the founder and proud owner of Just Yours Boutique.
Just Yours Boutique was created because I wanted something of my own, and something that would give me the financial freedom to be with my kids. I wanted to build something just for them. At first it started off as a jewelry shop, because I wanted to follow in my mother’s footsteps. Then it just became something much more. So now I specialize in crafting custom tumblers, mugs, t-shirts, hoodies, stickers, etc. You name it, and I can make it!
I’m not afraid to take on a challenge, or adapt. As a mom and entrepreneur, I pour my heart and soul into every custom tumbler, shirt, hoodie, and accessories that I hand craft. I understand the importance of making products that not only look great but also stand the test of time with contributing factors such as travel, and multiple washes. My unwavering commitment to providing the highest quality and unique personalization is what sets me apart aside from my jewelry not turning your wrist green. haha
I want my clients and potential future clients to know that they can come to me with any idea and I will bring it to life. No idea is too far-fetched. Whether it’s a custom design for a tumbler, a t-shirt, or a lovely piece of my sterling silver jewelry, I strive to exceed expectations with every order to make it truly just yours.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
One lesson I had to unlearn was the idea that I needed everything to be absolutely perfect in order to be successful. As a mother and entrepreneur, I always held myself to incredibly high standards, believing that any mistake or imperfection was a total failure on my part. Having this mindset not only caused a lot of stress and anxiety but it also hindered my ability to grow and adapt both personally and professionally.
Being brought up in a Latino household goes back to my childhood when I would be compared to las primas every time they would do something great, I was immediately looked at. I was always told to achieve high grades or results just like them, which reinforced the idea that perfection was the key to success. However, as I got older and dove deeper into entrepreneurship as well as motherhood, I quickly realized that perfection was not only unattainable but also detrimental to my well-being and growth.
I had to start challenging my own beliefs by redefining what success meant to me. I started to embrace imperfection as a natural part of the learning process and began to focus more on progress rather than perfection.

We’d really appreciate if you could talk to us about how you figured out the manufacturing process.
I actually hand craft each of my products to order except for my branded packaging.
I do however use quite a few vendors. Fun fact my first vendor was through my mother. I learned a lot over the course of time. Especially about the jewelry business.
In order for me to find the right vendor for my business, I had to utilize a combination of online research, industry referrals, and networking. I also scoured online marketplaces and directories. One of the most important lessons I learned along the way about manufacturing a product is the importance of clear communication and collaboration. I had to establish a strong relationship with open communication to ensure my vision was being translated accurately into the final product that being my branded jewelry boxes. By doing this, and quality checking requested samples I was able to maintain high standards and address any issues or concerns prior to the manufacturing process.
