Hi Sasha , thanks for joining us today. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?

This might have been on of the hardest things to do when starting the business was picking the perfect name. I began to think of the important things in my life and how I could tie them to my business world. Why not use my last name ? I didn’t just choose it because its a part of my name. I wanted to be able to put the Monroe family on the map for generations to come whether it had to do with baking directly or another avenue of the business that would be under the umbrella of Monroe sweets enterprise. I wanted to be able to create generational wealth for me and my family .

Sasha , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I am Sasha Monroe owner and founder of monroesweetsllc . We are a company with multiple businesses . Monroe sweets was founded in 2016 of October . We made it official June 18 of 2019 , and have been adding on ever since. We specialize in baked goods from cakes, cookies, pies, cobbler, catering, birthday parties and much more. We put love and patience into all of our products its done from the heart. We also have incorporated merchandise to go along with such as t-shirts, hoodies, shorts, and beanies for monroesweets. We cater to you and your needs during any moment or occasion . We are a home based bakery , who plans to expand into a storefront / mobile bakery very soon. We pop up at different events during the year all around Michigan as well as in various states! I love being an entrepreneur and everything it comes with having the freedom to create something that can put a smile on a person face . It started off as a hobby during the time I was in college and going thru multiple injuries I needed something to occupy my time besides school and everyday my love for baking grew until it became my business. It takes a lot to want to do this but its worth it and I know it will pay off and I can enjoy career in something I never get tired of doing. There has been many struggles and ups and downs but through perseverance and consistency its Turning into something great.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

I think being consistent with my art , and being a reliable help build my reputation within the baking market. I have pretty reasonable prices and we put love into everything that is being done. We appreciate customer feedback that’s what makes us better as a whole.

If you have multiple revenue streams in your business, would you mind opening up about what those streams are and how they fit together?

My current business has multiple streams of revenue connected to Monroe sweets enterprise. To go along with the bakery business we also have apparel (shirts, hoodies, body suits and beanies). We also have a newly added on holistic line that includes a cbd rub and oil. We try to make this a one stop shop ,in the near future to incorporate more to the enterprise this is only the beginning of something great!
