We recently connected with Sasha Lipskaia and have shared our conversation below.
Sasha, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
My whole life feels like a stream of exciting and terrifying risks.
The most powerful and freshest one was when I had to leave my exciting and lucrative teaching, coaching, and sales position at a fantastic company, which at the time felt like a complete surrender of everything I thought I wanted in my career and lifestyle.
I thought I had it all figured out. I had said yes to an ideal opportunity in the personal growth and wellness space, where I felt valued and loved. Moreover, I was making great money. The team felt like family. I adored our clients and students. I got to do everything I loved—coaching, teaching, contemplating, and creating content around spiritual, intuitive, and professional development. I was learning every day and had a strong community around me.
It was fantastic. But slowly, the more I immersed myself in my work, I discovered a hunger for something else. Grief. A longing to commit and create something of my own. But what? I did not know, but I knew I had to find out. And the only way was to go in.
I knew I had to re-commit to myself and what felt true. Since I did not know the truth, I took a few days of deep contemplation.
I prayed. I danced. I let myself be sad and confused. I kept asking: “What is the truth?” And then I knew it. It dropped in softly and clearly. I wanted to be free, empty of structures and expectations, and in the unknown. To begin a new chapter from a place of alignment with what gave me the most joy.
I went for a walk in the woods, meditated, prayed, and talked with my spiritual teachers, and realized I was about to step away from everything I had committed to. And I felt peace. A part of me was terrified to rock the boat, appear ungrateful, leave something I valued and loved, and let people I admired down. To fail.
But I recognized the intuitive ping of my inner truth. I wanted to be free and empty to create my next chapter without any conditions.
I needed to trust myself to discover and let the road appear. I wanted to embody the work of bringing all parts of me into being a spiritual guide and artist. I wanted to learn more and apply the energy work I had already been doing. So I had to walk my talk of evolving my purpose through living it. I wanted to be empty of my old roles. I had to detach myself from the need to perform, impress, be liked, and achieve goals that did feel true in my heart.
And so, I spoke of it to my boss, and her wisdom and grace were another sign I needed to take that leap. And while feeling the deep heartbreak and fear that came from this sudden and complete change in my personal and professional plan, I felt entirely free to know how free I have always been to express myself. I felt aligned with a part of me that was yearning to speak and to learn more about what made me come alive while being of service through it.
This led to my questioning everything I thought about my life. Here I was, no job, no clients, no money coming in, no marketing plan, and no idea of what my work would look like. So I took an intentional sabbatical. I hired several spiritual mentors and explored my inner Self from a place of no certainty and no plan.
I am thrilled to report that I am here, with complete devotion to this mysterious path as it reveals itself. The miracle of witnessing how every part of my life thus far has equipped me to face, learn, and grow through this moment in a genuinely harmonious, intuitive, and TRUE way. That feels like success. That feels purposeful.
Death of our old identities has to take place for what is waiting to be born to come through. While this change felt overwhelming and scary at the time, it was also empowering, loving, and exhilarating. I know this was the best decision I could make to feel true to my purpose right now.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
Of course! Since I was a very young child, I loved spending time alone, while deeply communicating with something that I could not see, but felt was guiding me. I know now, that it was my intuitive self. As I grew up, it became essential for me to embody a lifestyle where I got to express my authentic essence while learning to actualize my worldly purpose.
Today, I get to guide others on their awakening journey as a spiritual embodiment teacher, Reiki master, intuitive mindset coach, and sacred intimacy& sexuality mentor. I work with people who are hungry to wake up to their truth and who feel disconnected from their worth, and life purpose, and out of alignment with who they really are.
Do you know how your life often feels like a puzzle where you try to put your authentic self and your life’s purpose and meaning together to make sense of who you are and what you are here for?
That is the journey on which I guide those searching for the freedom to live as who they authentically are.
It can feel lonely and frustrating seeking the truth of yourself, in a culture constantly pressuring you to become something different to be accepted and loved.
So, in my work, I focus on supporting my clients and students in reclaiming their essence: Their joy, presence, and peace. We do this by focusing on their relationship with their intuition and heart wisdom, while they learn to follow the guidance of something sacred, loving, and true inside of them.
I know how much goes into someone’s self-awakening and inner transformation to become the full expression of who they want to embody to feel genuine, loved, worthy, and powerful.
I have spent most of my life between countries, cultures, and spiritual teachings. (I am Colombian- Russian-Jewish-Canadian gal:-)
And so, I came to this work through years of practicing and studying various religious traditions, mystical teachings, and spiritual paths.
While I learned how to heal my wounds around belonging, feminine power, sexuality, and self-worth, I explored the depths of our psyche through performance and storytelling, which I brought into my acting career, going deeper into the lived, embodied, human experience and purpose.
I then felt called to be of service to others in a similar way that my mentors and coaches have been to me. So I explored various professions, from a communication teacher and social worker to a wellness and mindset coach to a feminist media creator and scholar in my academic graduate work to an intuitive reader and energy worker.
Here we are, 20 years into my career. These roles, experiences, and training merge into the holistic style of my coaching work, weaving in to effectively serve my clients in all areas of their self-actualization journey.
I often get the feedback that our sessions mystically align my client’s life in whatever way they most need it at the time.
I am proud of how far and how quickly the people I get support come in recognizing their truth, their peace, and their freedom, while I witness how they transform their lives without mind games, struggle, or fear.
I am inspired to create a space where deep intuitive alignment with someone’s heart can guide them towards a purposeful life vision from a place of knowing who they are, what they truly want, and what they want their lives to stand for.
In my coaching packages, which include live calls and voice/text support between sessions, I lead my clients to step out of their minds and into their hearts with a devotion to what they say they want.
From that place, we help them transcend the mindset blocks, fear, painful belief systems, and old stories that keep them stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, and weak.
The foundation of what I offer today is a custom-designed mystery school and intuitive mentorship experience that involves mindset coaching, spiritual development, and energy healing.
Change is reversible. Transformation is not. As their coach, I am not trying to become an expert in my clients’ lives. However, I am an expert in how to guide them through their own unique transformation experience.
As we go deeper in their journey, I weave in the energy work and spiritual guidance so that we can achieve and ground my clients in a deep awareness of their inner selves.
The purpose of my work is always to guide my clients to live in harmony between an embodied, grounded, and healthy presence in their lives and their deep yearning for an unshakable feeling of peace, purpose, self-worth, and self-love.
I act as their mirror, guide, sounding board, and spiritual advisor as we play and explore their life inside a space where the transformation and healing they need can occur in due time.
In our coaching sessions, I may work with shamanic journeying, tantric embodiment practices, archetypes, classic coaching, and spiritual tools depending on my clients’ specific struggles, blocks, and desires.
However, I am committed to making spirituality enjoyable, simple, accessible, and practical. As my teacher, Moojibaba, often says: “You do not need to do any spiritual gymnastics to embody your truth, peace, and freedom.”
I do not believe you need complicated, lengthy practices or to sacrifice parts of your life that bring you joy to find your purpose or feel connected to the divine guidance within you. It is already in you.
My job is to hold a safe space for you to express yourself, witness and amplify the truth you are revealing while keeping you accountable to your vision when fear and egoic resistance creep in and risk sabotaging the life you want.
Be it just one intensive session, six months, or a full year of deep coaching, my clients and I co-create their unique self-discovery and self-actualization journey that meets them where they are.
Since it is almost impossible for a person to see themselves clearly, I am here for people feeling a deep urge to wake up to the truth and tired of suffering.
It is an honor to serve people committed to their awakening, developing their intuition, and learning how to interpret and integrate its wisdom into what matters to them most, which universally comes back to deeply knowing, honoring, and loving your True Self.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
The whole of 2021 was a big “This is how you must do business to feel successful” unlearning experience. Unlearning what I was “supposed” to be as an entrepreneur.
As a healer.
As a spiritual guide.
As a teacher.
As an online coach.
Essentially, I have had to “un-become” the idea of who I thought I had to be in relationship to my professional success.
For the last few years, I have been jumping from one strategy to another.
As several high-end business coaches taught me, I started to believe that becoming a successful entrepreneur and a high-level professional in my field required me to go into “efficiency terminator mode” and do more every day, maximizing my minutes and tracking my performance. More content, more contacts, more outreach, more sales calls. More money. More followers. More comments, shares, and likes.
Just more.
And I have spent two years running like an energizer bunny. I had committed to focusing on performance, ROI, and specific marketing techniques. Then one day, I sat with the question, “what is working?” And realized that every client I have worked with came through organically, with me being fully myself. Beyond my role as a “coach.’
.
Intuitively connecting and following up with people I found resonance with, not giving up on, trusting my intuition, and not trying too hard.
I needed to release trying to grow the “facade” of my business and focus on those that resonated with me and the conversations on what served them. I learned (and am still learning to discern what was true and what was a fad. Less content, but content aligned with who I am as a coach and a human being. My job now is to focus on staying consistent with the few things that I know offer the most value and are in harmony with how I serve my clients and who I coach and teach in my spiritual mentorship and life coaching roles.
I had to unlearn the definition of success that I adopted while trying to discover who I wanted to be as the face and the creator of my “brand.”
I discovered that I am the business model.
I have had to unlearn that my business has to look a certain way or grow in a specific fashion to really serve my community and myself.
To unlearn what felt like a fact of “doing business,” I have had to focus on my intuition with even more commitment. And this is the kind of work that keeps going in the background. More burdening rules to unlearn, and more heart-truth to reveal, every day! That is how I know I am on my true path.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
Abslolutely. A critical pivot in my life occurred, after getting my MA, when I packed up my relaxed Montreal life, moved into my parents’ basement, quit my comfortable communications job, and journeyed to Poland to teach English…to create a space for me to discover my next chapter. This resulted in a choice to accept failure, confusion, and a decision to return to my parents’ basement. No romantic ideas and no escaping.
That was the pivot I needed. Not to run after adventures or experiences, but to go within and learn to trust what I heard.
I started exploring and focusing on the opportunities that started popping up for me to let go of even more of my old life.
And in the midst of that, COVID hit. As I was pivoting on what I thought was my lifestyle, the whole world went to pivot!
I felt like I was pivoting from everything I had intended to be doing in my life and my idea of what “working” should look like.
I entered into a weird and uncomfortable territory that strangely felt like home. Mysticism, tantra, shamanism, the search for God, and using technology as a tool for healing and awakening, became a daily practice.
Thus began my total commitment to exploring my calling in the online business, wellness, and personal development spaces, carving my own path.
I had let go of all of my ordinary ways of making a living, and I knew I had to start tapping into new ways of sharing my gifts.
I tried many niches, and explored different opportunites. Life always brings you what you need to remember what you really yearn for in the depths of your being. I feel like I am only at the very beginning of my journey, and more pivots will come.
The only thing that matters is to stay open, flexible, and appreciate every opportunity to suprise yourself, so long as it feeds your soul. The truth is: So long as you keep following your intuitive pull with an open heart, and a curiosity to learn more about yourself, you have already won this game.
Bring it on, tiger, and let’s play!
