We were lucky to catch up with Sasha Jones recently and have shared our conversation below.
Sasha, appreciate you joining us today. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.
I think the biggest risk i took was– choosing my hard. in regards to being 300lbs and overweight with diabetes. & realizing im jus going to have to invest in my illness or invest in my health & taking that risk of choosing the healthier lifestyle not knowing where to go, what to do or even how to workout and where to start

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach with four years of experience, but my journey didn’t start there. Five years ago, I weighed 300 pounds and was living with diabetes, struggling with my health and confidence. Through dedication and hard work, I lost 120 pounds, reversed my diabetes, and completely transformed my life. That journey inspired me to help others do the same.
Today, I’m proud to be a hybrid trainer, working both in-person in the Houston, Texas area and online through my signature program, The Body Fit Blueprint. This program is designed to empower individuals with personalized fitness plans, nutrition guidance, and accountability to achieve lasting results—no matter where they are in the world.
What sets me apart is my firsthand understanding of the struggles my clients face, whether it’s losing weight, building confidence, or managing a busy lifestyle. I’m currently advancing my expertise with certifications in sports nutrition, corrective exercise, and studying Spanish to better connect with a diverse audience.
My mission is simple: to inspire and guide others toward a healthier, happier life, just as I’ve done for myself. Whether in person or online, I’m here to help people unlock their potential and create sustainable changes that last a lifetime.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
One thing I pride myself on when it comes to my social media and when it comes to my viewers, my supporters, and my followers is the fact that they always tell me how relatable I am how I’ve create a safe space for them to come to, they can feel they can be themselves and be vulnerable. And have someone that has gone through and felt the same things they have so they don’t feel alone.
So if there’s any advice that I could give to anybody starting social media is to be yourself be your authentic self

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I do daily check-in with my clients most trainers do weekly, but I want my clients to never feel like they’re alone in their journey because I felt alone At times when I was in mine and I didn’t have anybody and not knowing where to start or what to do so I try to be as Personable and understanding and caring as I can possibly be
