We were lucky to catch up with Sasha Abreu Ramos recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Sasha, thanks for joining us today. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
Our legacy is one of empowerment, education, and community upliftment. We envision a future where aspiring women in real estate and young girls with dreams of success can find guidance, support, and a network that propels them toward their goals.
We aim to foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and empowerment. By connecting experienced professionals with emerging talents, we hope to create a ripple effect of positive change within the Latino community.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
As the founder, my vision is to establish a platform that not only promotes diversity within the real estate sector but actively contributes to the empowerment of Latin women. Our organization, now a non-profit, will evolved to become a catalyst for change. Gearing up for 2024 we will provide mentorship programs for women and young girls aspiring to navigate the dynamic world of real estate.
Our focus is on creating a supportive community, offering guidance, and bridging the gap between experienced professionals and emerging talents. Latin Girls in Real Estate is not just about transactions; it’s about transformation. We’re proud to be problem solvers, addressing the challenges faced by aspiring individuals through mentorship and educational initiatives.
What sets us apart is our commitment to fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusivity. We believe that diverse perspectives lead to innovation, and that’s what we bring to the table.
We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.
I met Adriana Johnston, Daisy Pena and Dalia Ceron at my very first event, and their unwavering support from that day forward has been nothing short of remarkable. They not only saw my vision but became integral parts of the team, with Daisy serving as our President, Adriana as our Secretary, and Dalia as our Treasurer. Together, we’ve turned a shared vision into a thriving reality.
Any advice for managing a team?
As a leader, it’s crucial to uphold a clear vision that not only guides our professional journey but also serves as a compass for maintaining high moral standards. I believe in fostering an environment where our collective success is intertwined with the individual growth and aspirations of each team member. Supporting their personal goals isn’t just a commitment; it’s a philosophy that reinforces our shared values and propels us towards excellence together.
