We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sarita Buer. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sarita below.
Hi Sarita, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
What started as just a personal healing transformation, turned into me sharing my experience and then into an online coaching and podcasting business. I didn’t get into wellness with the intention of becoming an influcener, I got into it for my own personal wellbeing. There are many parts to the wellness industry and when I first started out I was more interested in the emotional wellness side that would help alleviate the stress and anxiety I was experiencing. What I didn’t know was the journey to unpacking all parts of me was going to be very deep. I got more heavily into healing not just my physical body and my mind through mediation and breathwork. Simultaneously I decided that part of healing my mind was including my relationship with money and finances. Unfortunately like many people we grow up hearing things around money and create money stories because of it. Being adopted from Central America and being raised by a single mother I heard that money was tight all the time and there was never a lot of it. When I decided at the age of 39 to actually start healing that story I noticed how deep the scares were. When i was doing my healing around money I constantly went back to the emotional wellness tools I was taught to help me move through what was coming up. I thought, there is something there. Why not combine the power of emotional wellness and mindfullness tools with the power of healing your money story. It was then I decided to create a new niche around wellness and call it Inner Wealth Wellness. Inner Wealth Wellness is about tapping into your inner abundance and power, and that through that you have the ability to manifest the life and the money you desire. Many people forget that we are the creators of our reality, so helping women take back their power in this sense is what I most love doing through my one on one coaching and programs. It’s been an amazing journey and I can’t wait to make a larger impact.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a Inner Wealth Wellness & Abundance Coach and Podcaster. I help women clear the slate so they can manifest abundance with ease. Manifestation is not this complicated process as social media has lead us to believe with it’s 369 practices, crystals and vision boards. We do it on the daily everyday and all day. What sets people apart from not getting what they want and getting what they want all comes down to their beliefs. As a Inner Wealth Coach I help women who are loosing sleep overthinking about the “how” their manifestations are going to arrive or even equate time with money and working harder and more hours means more abundance, all things tied to the belief around our relationship with financial abundance. I talking heavily around the healing process that is an integral part of manifestation with ease on my podcast Back To Here With Sarita. I also do this through my Activate Sessions and The Activate Your Inner Wealth & Abundance Program. I am most proud of helping dozens of women now come back to themselves and reclaim their power so they can manifest with ease and on autopilot.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I think one of the best human qualities we share is our ability to be resilient. Just look at 2020 when the world was shut down and entrepreneurs like myself had to get creative. I had started my on-line endeavors just around the time when things were coming to a close in the end of 2019. I was so excited that I had finally started to gain some traction on-line and I went into teaching people about wellness and vitality. It wasn’t long in 2020 that there was a surge of people doing the same exact thing so i realized in order to stand out I would need to be a lot more specific in what it was I was talking about. I believe being able to pivot in business and in life is our form of resilience. It took quite a bit of research and transition but I was able to lean into the parts of me that I was most scared of showing. It was because of the need to serve my audience that I learned true resilience in the face of change.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
When I started out to now social media has changed quite a bit but one thing has not changed is people’s desire to utilize social media as a way to create connection. Social Media is a place to be social and one of my biggest light bulb moments around social media was not bringing my true self to the platform. By nature I am a social person, I work the room and talk to people and I love to create great conversations with people. I love showing up at parties because it is a way I can get to know more people and enrich my life. I wasn’t doing that on social media. I was showing up sharing knowledge and information as though leaving it as though i was walking into a gathering, grabbing the microphone and getting up on stage without even trying to get to know the people in the room. Big mistake! When I realized that I could use the power of social media to actually interact with people, that is when things started to shift. Also, going on being in your most authentic nature means, it’s ok to show up as yourself to your audience. We tend to hide ourselves from people due to judgement, but its the thing that you find most odd or quirky about yourself that people will most fall in love with!
