We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Sarina Agarwal a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Sarina, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
Without a doubt, the most meaningful project I’ve worked on is my podcast, Wellness Diaries. It was born from a quiet ache I could no longer ignore — a whisper in the back of my mind that kept asking, Is this it?
At the time, I was climbing the corporate ladder — pursuing a path that, from the outside, looked stable and successful. I had the job, the routine, the plan. But inside, I felt disconnected — like I was moving through life on autopilot. The fire, the fulfillment, the sense of purpose — it just wasn’t there.
That internal restlessness eventually became impossible to ignore. I knew I had to create something that truly lit me up — and could help others do the same. That’s when Wellness Diaries came to life: a podcast that offers short-form episodes designed for busy people who are craving depth, clarity, and intentional living.
It’s not just about wellness in the trendy sense. It’s about emotional resilience, mindset shifts, self-connection, and the courage to build a life that actually feels good on the inside — not just looks good from the outside. Each episode is a burst of motivation, grounded in research and personal experience, and created to help listeners reconnect with their potential.
What makes this project so meaningful to me is the way it’s resonated. I’ve received messages from listeners who say a single episode helped them shift their mindset, reset their day, or reimagine what’s possible. That kind of impact is everything.
Wellness Diaries is more than a podcast — it’s a space for transformation. And it’s the most soul-fulfilling work I’ve ever done.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m Sarina — a podcast host, motivational speaker, and someone who’s deeply passionate about living with intention and embracing wellness in all its forms. My journey to this point wasn’t linear. For years, I followed the traditional path: climbing the corporate ladder, checking all the boxes that define success in the business world. On the outside, I had a stable career, the promotions, the pay raises — everything that looked good on paper. But internally, I felt unfulfilled, as if something was missing. I was working hard, but I wasn’t truly aligned with my purpose.
That feeling of disconnect led me to reevaluate everything. It wasn’t an easy decision, but I knew I had to make a change. I wanted to do more than just help people get through their day-to-day. I wanted to guide others toward creating a life of intention and growth. That’s how Wellness Diaries was born.
Through my podcast, I offer short, impactful episodes designed to inspire and motivate people to live with more purpose. The focus is on practical advice for emotional resilience, mindset shifts, and intentional living. Each episode provides real, actionable insights that listeners can use to tackle challenges and move forward in their lives. It’s not about quick fixes or surface-level tips — it’s about empowering people to make lasting changes that lead to fulfillment.
What sets Wellness Diaries apart is its authenticity. I don’t present myself as someone who has it all figured out — I’m on this journey with my listeners. The episodes are designed to feel like a boost of motivation, providing the energy and insight to help people break through limiting beliefs, embrace change, and start living a life that aligns with their values. It’s not about perfection; it’s about progress.
What I’m most proud of is creating a podcast that resonates with so many people, especially those who might not have the time to sit through long-form content but still want something meaningful and impactful. The goal is to provide a source of motivation and practical wisdom that’s easy to digest, but that makes a real difference in how people approach their lives.
I want potential listeners to know that Wellness Diaries is about embracing the journey of growth, together. It’s not about having all the answers or reaching some idealized version of wellness. It’s about showing up, making small intentional choices, and being kind to yourself as you navigate the ups and downs. We’re all figuring it out, and every step you take gets you closer to becoming the best version of yourself. If you’re ready to take action and move past self-doubt, I’m here to share what I’ve learned and help guide you, wherever you are on your journey.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My creative journey is rooted in a deep desire to help people step away from the relentless pace of modern life and reconnect with what it truly means to live with intention. In a world that demands constant motion, it’s easy to forget the power of stillness and reflection. Through everything I create — whether it’s my podcast, my writing, or the conversations I share — my mission is to invite others to pause, breathe, and make small, intentional shifts that lead to a life of deeper fulfillment.
Wellness, to me, is not just about the body — it’s about nurturing a resilient mind, an open heart, and the courage to live authentically. I seek to create spaces where people can explore what truly matters to them, offering insights and encouragement to break free from limiting beliefs and step into transformation.
Ultimately, my mission is about progress, not perfection. It’s the understanding that each small step, no matter how quiet, is part of a greater journey — a journey toward a life that resonates with your deepest values and aspirations. Through my work, I hope to inspire others to build a life that feels purposeful, expansive, and true to who they really are.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
One of the most profound lessons I had to unlearn was the belief that I needed to be perfect before I started anything. For so long, I carried the weight of feeling like I needed to have everything figured out, as if starting without all the answers was a sign of failure. But over time, I realized that this pursuit of perfection only kept me stuck in a cycle of inaction. Perfection is an illusion, and it’s the pursuit of it that actually prevents growth.
When I first embarked on this journey, I had no roadmap. I was stepping into the unknown, unsure of every move I made. But what I’ve learned along the way is that the true value of progress lies in the willingness to begin — even in the absence of certainty. I learned that mistakes weren’t failures; they were essential parts of the process. In fact, they were the very stepping stones to growth.
We’re often conditioned to think that success comes from flawless execution, that failure is something to be avoided at all costs. But in reality, it’s the act of embracing imperfection, the courage to begin before we feel ready, that brings us closer to the life we desire. It’s about taking small steps, learning, adapting, and trusting that each of those steps is part of a larger unfolding process.
The greatest takeaway from this journey has been the understanding that perfection isn’t the goal — growth is. And that growth doesn’t come from doing everything perfectly; it comes from showing up, being open to discomfort, and accepting that the path forward is rarely linear. I’m still evolving, still learning, and I’ve come to accept that this is the most beautiful part of the journey.
