We recently connected with Saremmy Rodriguez and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Saremmy thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. The first dollar you earn in a new endeavor is always special. We’d love to hear about how you got your first client that wasn’t a friend or family.
My first client experiences that were not friends or family came through my Instagram, where I had been sharing my love for home decor and cozy living spaces through both images and videos. My earliest collaborations were gifted partnerships, and along the way I also received a few paid opportunities.
One of the first brands that reached out gifted me a product to create content with. I remember the excitement of receiving it and immediately imagining how I would style it in my home and how I would bring it to life on camera. It did not feel like work. It felt like creative play, like I was simply capturing moments and styling spaces that reflected my vision.
What stayed with me the most was not the product itself, but what happened after I shared the images and videos. People began reaching out to tell me they felt inspired and wanted to recreate that same cozy feeling in their own homes.
That was the moment I realized this was not just about creating beautiful content. It was about inspiring others through the way I see and style everyday life.

Saremmy, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am a content creator specializing in home decor and cozy lifestyle storytelling through photography and video. My journey began very organically, simply by sharing pieces of my everyday life and the spaces I was creating at home. I was not trying to build a business at first. I was just documenting what I loved, experimenting with styling, and learning how to capture the feeling of a home through visuals.
Over time, brands began to discover my content and reach out for collaborations. That is when I realized there was a real connection between my creativity and the way people responded to it. I slowly transitioned from sharing for passion to building a creative brand rooted in storytelling, emotion, and aesthetic intention.
Through my work, I create images and videos that help brands bring their products to life in a way that feels warm, relatable, and inspiring. I focus on capturing not just how a space looks, but how it feels. I aim to create content that makes people want to slow down, feel at home, and recreate that sense of comfort in their own spaces.
What sets me apart is the emotional intention behind my work. I am not just styling spaces for visuals. I am creating experiences that connect with people on a deeper level. I understand that home is not just a place, it is a feeling, and I try to translate that feeling into every piece of content I create.
I am most proud of the fact that my work has inspired others to see beauty in their own homes and everyday moments. Whether through a simple styled corner or a short video, I love knowing that what I create can bring comfort, inspiration, and joy to someone else’s day.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
One of the most defining parts of my journey has been learning to stay consistent even when growth felt slow and uncertain. I started by simply sharing my love for home decor and cozy living through photography and video, without any expectation of where it would lead.
There were many moments of doubt where I questioned whether my work was making any impact at all. I was creating, learning, and showing up, often without immediate recognition or results.
But I kept going. I kept refining my eye, improving my storytelling, and staying true to the kind of calm, intentional lifestyle I wanted to express.
Over time, those quiet efforts began to grow into something meaningful. Brands started to notice my work, and people began sharing how my content inspired them to see beauty in their own homes.
That experience taught me that resilience is not about fast success. It is about consistency, faith in your vision, and continuing even when the outcome is not yet visible.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I built my audience very organically through Instagram by simply sharing what I loved most, home decor, cozy living, and slow lifestyle moments captured through photography and video. At the beginning, I was not thinking about building a brand or an audience. I was just expressing myself creatively and documenting the spaces I was creating at home.
Consistency played a huge role. I kept showing up, sharing small details of my home, experimenting with styling, and learning how to better tell stories through visuals. Over time, people began to connect with the feeling behind my content, not just the aesthetics.
Slowly, my audience started to grow. I began receiving messages from people saying they felt inspired to create more intentional and cozy spaces in their own homes. That connection meant everything to me.
My advice for anyone starting is to focus less on perfection and more on consistency and authenticity. Share what you genuinely love, even if it feels small at first. Your voice and vision will naturally evolve as you keep showing up.
