Sarah , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?

I think that answer varies for each individual. Before you can narrow down what it takes to be successful, you have to narrow down what it means to you personally to be successful. So what does that look like for me? I envision being successful as having a meaningful way to provide for myself and my family and the ability to enjoy the things that bring me happiness. Am I there yet? No, but I am definitely on the path. Success is a big lesson in failure. I used to think the only way to be successful was never to fail. Ha! Boy, oh boy, was that a lesson. Now I believe being successful means you got up and kept going every time you failed. Accepting that failure is an important learning tool is critical.

Sarah , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Of course! I am Sarah Ware, photographer, writer, bookkeeper, and magician at Sarah Ware Photography. I call myself a lifestyle photographer and love photographing all that entails. From business owners building a brand to a newborn’s first day at home, I feel lucky to capture these moments. The joy I see when I spend time with my clients is one of my favorite things. A lot is going on in the world today, and being able to absorb the goodness from clients is a blessing. Taking photos can be nerve-wracking for many people, and one of my gifts is to bring a level of comfort during my sessions.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

Consistency with product and attitude.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

My driving force is to help people. My wish for all of us is to live life the best we can.
