We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sarah Teagle. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sarah below.
Sarah , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
When I first had the idea for Teagle Consulting, it came from years of seeing both sides of business — the structured world of Corporate America and the fast-paced, unpredictable journey of entrepreneurship. I have over 25 years of experience within Corporate America in leadership, building strong teams, influencing major decisions, and driving results. In addition, the last seven years I’ve spent working with start-up companies, helping them build the operational infrastructure from scratch. My thought was simple: If I can do it for them, I can do it for myself — and help others do it too.
That realization sparked the birth of Teagle Consulting. The very next day, I grabbed a notebook and started mapping out everything — who I wanted to serve, what problems I wanted to solve, and how I could create a business that made a tangible difference. I outlined my vision to help business owners move from being overwhelmed and reactive to becoming confident, strategic, and organized in their operations.
The following weeks were all about structure and strategy — registering the business, developing my 30-60-90 day business planning framework, building systems, designing the website, and refining my service offerings. It was equal parts excitement and exhaustion — early mornings, late nights, and countless cups of coffee — but I knew I was building something that would empower others to grow and scale with purpose.
When Teagle Consulting officially launched in 2024, it felt like everything I had learned in my corporate and entrepreneurial journey had come full circle. What began as a simple idea on paper became a mission-driven company dedicated to helping entrepreneurs streamline their operations, strengthen their leadership, and achieve sustainable success.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m Sarah Teagle, Founder and CEO of Teagle Consulting, where we help business owners grow, scale, and lead with clarity and confidence. I’ve spent over 25 years in Corporate America in leadership roles — building strong teams, influencing major decisions, and driving measurable results. Over the last seven years, I’ve worked closely with start-up companies, helping them build their operational infrastructure from the ground up. That experience gave me a front-row seat to the challenges entrepreneurs face when trying to turn passion into a profitable, sustainable business. My thought was simple: If I can help others build successful companies from scratch, I can do it for myself — and help even more people in the process.
At Teagle Consulting, we specialize in strategic business development, leadership coaching, and operational optimization. We help business owners move from feeling stuck and overwhelmed to having a clear, actionable plan through our 30-60-90 day business strategy framework. Whether it’s streamlining systems and processes, improving team dynamics, or creating growth strategies that actually work, our goal is to help businesses operate efficiently while staying aligned with their vision and values.
What sets Teagle Consulting apart is our personalized, hands-on approach. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter consulting — I believe in partnership. Each client receives strategies tailored to their goals, culture, and leadership style. I also combine my corporate experience with real-world entrepreneurial insight, bridging the gap between structure and innovation.
Beyond consulting, I’m also a speaker, author, and host of the podcast TeagleTalks: Heart and Hustle — where I share stories of business, motherhood, and leadership to inspire others to pursue their purpose with passion.
What I’m most proud of is seeing transformation in the people I work with — when a business owner finally gains clarity, confidence, and momentum, that’s the best success story there is. I want people to know that Teagle Consulting isn’t just about business strategy — it’s about empowering leaders to build something that lasts, both professionally and personally.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
One story that truly reflects my resilience is the season when I decided to completely start over and launch Teagle Consulting. After spending over 25 years in Corporate America — leading teams, driving results, and influencing major decisions — I reached a point where I wanted something more purposeful. I wanted to use my experience to help other business owners build sustainable, successful companies from the ground up.
But stepping away from the stability of a corporate career to build my own business was not easy — especially as a single mother of two. There were nights I’d be working on client strategies after my kids went to bed, balancing business plans with homework help, and trying to manage the constant juggle between motherhood and entrepreneurship. There were moments of exhaustion and doubt, but quitting was never an option. My children were — and still are — my biggest motivation. I wanted to show them what it looks like to chase your purpose, even when it’s hard.
The early months were filled with uncertainty and a lot of faith. I built every part of Teagle Consulting myself — developing the 30-60-90 business planning framework, creating systems, marketing the brand, and managing client relationships. Some days it felt like I was climbing uphill, but with every challenge, I grew stronger and more focused.
That experience taught me that resilience isn’t about never struggling — it’s about showing up, even when life feels overwhelming. Today, as I see Teagle Consulting thriving and helping entrepreneurs find structure, clarity, and confidence, I’m reminded that the hardest chapters often shape our greatest strength. Being a single mother while building a business taught me that resilience is not built in comfort; it’s built in courage.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?
My biggest advice for managing a team and maintaining high morale is to lead with clarity, communication, and connection. Over my 25 years in Corporate America and now as the founder of Teagle Consulting, I’ve learned that people perform best when they feel seen, heard, and valued. Leadership isn’t just about managing tasks — it’s about inspiring people to believe in a shared vision and empowering them to take ownership in achieving it.
First, clarity is key. Teams thrive when expectations, goals, and roles are clearly defined. When everyone understands the “why” behind their work, it builds purpose and alignment.
Second, communication must be consistent and transparent. Regular check-ins, open feedback, and celebrating wins — both big and small — go a long way in building trust and keeping morale high.
And finally, connection is what turns a group of employees into a high-performing team. Taking the time to understand what motivates each person, recognizing their strengths, and providing growth opportunities creates loyalty and long-term engagement.
I always say: “People don’t leave companies — they leave leadership.” When leaders prioritize authenticity, empathy, and accountability, morale doesn’t just stay high — it multiplies. Great leaders build great cultures, and great cultures drive lasting success.
