We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Sarah Miller a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Sarah, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
The mission of our team that I have been driven in is “Delivering the Dream of Homeownership Everywhere”. Every client is different and I help clients with the sell of their homes. It is helping clients who have never owned a home, are the first to own a homes in their families or an under-served group to build wealth through real estate is my passion.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a Realtor. I am both a Buyer’s Agent and a Listing Agent as part of our team’s model. I specialize in helping buyer including first-time home buyers . A Realtor’s job is more than showing homes, it’s being a negotiator, a mediator, a connector and a confidant. We take clients through the contract to closing process and work hard to make it as seamless as possible. We strive to provide value to our clients and help them reach their goals.
We help our clients not only buy homes but provide education on building wealth. Our vision states we will “Give Millions” and from our CEO to our first year agents, giving to others whether time or money is an important aspect of our business. What sets us apart is our attitude, our resources, and our reach.
Our teamwork, track record, marketing, and communication is what makes the brand translate with success in multiple locations across the country. The agents on the Ben Kinney Team work hard for our clients and encourage each other to live our best lives and be leaders in our community.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
One of the most effective strategies for growing my clientele has been our Home Buyer Workshop. Our goal is to provide education about the home buying process and help our attendees discover the importance of using real estate to build wealth. Our in-depth seminars, prepare our clients for their next steps and offers help to walk through the process with an experienced Realtor. Our Home Buyer Workshops help us meet people, create a target market to be a great source for the information needed to make great decisions and become a homeowner. We work to build a trust and relationship during these seminars, that persuades customers to work with us.
Can you open up about a time when you had a really close call with the business?
As a Realtor and entrepreneur there are times in business that hit a lag of time or have some dips in production. I’ve had a couple of close calls in my 5 year career and in building my business. It’s tough to admit but I have hit lows where I wanted to give up and quit. There have been times where business funds were extremely low. In the real estate business, you can double and triple down on activities that lead to sales that will lead to growth and success. So when times get tougher, we get to work! I have learned that as entrepreneur, your commitment to overtime for your own business is what it takes to be consistent and prevent those close calls in the long run.
