The nail industry is growing by the day! A variety of colors, glitters, character portraits, 3D designs and so much more! As a nail tech and artist, my craft and skills grows with every trend. My success stories come from clients who trust and believe in my knowledge on nail trends and creativity. A satisfied client with astounding nails fuels my passion and is the most rewarding feeling.

Sarah, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I began as a self-taught nail artist; I used various methods and tools to create flowers, bows, characters, etc. I soon realized that I enjoyed the art of nails and began considering being apart of the actual industry.

In the beginning, I had to endure a lot of trial and error, but it all paid off once I finally had the courage to establish SarahLuNails and become licensed to service clients years later. From become acquainted to loyal clients and the process of perfecting my craft, it has been an rewarding feeling ever since! My experience, knowledge, and passion for the art of doing nails set me apart from others. I am proud to say that I’m growing everyday and that allows me to diversify my work artistically and brand.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

The most effective strategy I’ve committed to for growing my clientele would have to be tailoring my brand to everyone. I offer a plethora of services and art. I’ve marketed my craft to gravitate towards clients who sought out natural nails, short nails, long nails, no art or bedazzlements, or having the most outstanding outwork; I create it all! I pride myself in creating beautiful work that is upheld for weeks at a time with proper care.

Keeping a modern social profile with trendy work work allows me to grow my clientele. As a one-woman team, I am my own photographer, teacher, inspiration, marketer, and financial advisor. Nevertheless, I sustain SarahLuNails through the art of beauty.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

There are many rewarding aspects being a nail tech, but the most rewarding is between bonding with clients and the results of the actual nails!

One of the major insights of being a nail tech is having clients who allow you to sit and be in their personal space, holding hands, for hours at a time, filled with conversations filled with laughter, secrets, tears, and many different emotions. This allows the building block of trust between both the nail tech and client which will encourage a fundamental relationship and customer service.

Furthermore, a great session will definitely result in beautiful nails. Who wants hours of a dull service and ultimately ugly nails? No one!
