We were lucky to catch up with Sarah Krippner recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Sarah thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
Well, being an entrepreneur is its own risk in so many ways. Going out on your own, reaching out and finding your clientele, opening your own space and knowing each month it is totally up to you to make things grow and flow. It is always a risk. Hosting my first retreat, putting that deposit down and trusting the people will show.
Especially, I believe in the healing world, it feels risky on a personal level even more than financially speaking. The work is so personal, intimate even. Taking that first step forward to put your unique gifts out there for all to see in hopes to help people make positive changes in their lives. Its deeply personal and takes a lot of your own energy to give so fully to your clients. But that is also what makes this work so rewarding too.
My own healing story is partially how I connect with my clients so sharing my own vulnerable journey feels risky too. You question your judgment often. How will people see me after they hear my story? Am I sharing too much? These are all thoughts that course through your mind as you put yourself out there. But this too is all worth it. Being authentic in my words and my story connect me with the perfect clients who trust me and are ready to heal.
The reward is worth the risk every time. From posting on social media connecting with my audience to hosting events, some work, some don’t. You have to put yourself out there, trusting the process, knowing the right people will show and learn from the things that don’t go the way you planned. There is always a blessing when you look for one. If you trust in divine timing, it all works out as it should.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am an intuitive healer, breathwork facilitator and conscious connection coach. I have always been a healer, and I have dipped my toe in many arenas trying to find my perfect fit over the years. I started my career over 25 years ago as a massage therapist. Which turned out to be the foundation for my healing practice today although I began in a more clinical practice with sports injuries and athletic bodywork. I added in personal training for a while as that fit my massage practice at the time, but that didn’t really light me up. I also went through training to become a Certified Holistic Health Coach and although that was not my match either, that experience opened up the pathway to the coaching I do now. Really, all the certifications and years of trainings I did for the first 18 years led me to where I am today.
My intuitive healing practice is both energetic and physical. I still practice bodywork but add in energy, sound, and vibrational healing practices to bring a more overall shift in my client’s well-being. Physical pain is more often attached to deeper emotional traumas and imprints, so it’s crucial to tend to both the physical as well as energetic/mental states. I work with my clients 1:1 as well as group sound healing events.
Breathwork is a beautiful deep healing practice. You can use it daily to improve mental fitness and clarity or to relax before bed. How I use Breathwork in my practice is 1:1 or group journeys and retreats. Within an hour-long journey we dive deep with conscious connected breathing to intentionally unlock stored emotions and self-sabotaging thoughts, replacing them with new powerful abundance-based thinking. My clients release emotions and pain they didn’t even know they were hanging onto only to find a new sense of love and peace on the other side. It’s beautiful work.
Conscious Connected Coaching is blending somatic (body) healing practices with the mental and spiritual exercises that bring someone into a very aware state of living that improves relationships, health, and overall well-being. It is easy to sort of walk through life on auto-pilot. Not paying too much attention to your life until things start to go wrong. We do this with our health and our personal relationships. Most of my work here has focused on working with couples who want to reconnect on a deeper intimate level. The body is a beautiful place to start that connection, getting more intentional and trusting your intuition. Allowing your body to forgive is easier than then mind so we start there.
I think my favorite testimonial is from a couple who has been together for 40 years but had been disconnected for years. After a VIP weekend getaway, I created for them, they relit the flame of passion, found new ways to stay in love and started to play again. They said it saved their marriage. So, I say this work is not therapy, but it is very therapeutic.
All my practices blend so beautifully together, You can start small with a group class and work your way into the deeper supportive healing containers as it suits you. I love the way all my years of different kinds of training have come together to create my practice today. A perfect collection of skills and gifts that support my clients on all levels. Mind, body and spirit.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Owning your own business is not always easy. You can feel isolated at times as it is all up to you to create. I personally find this empowering more than disempowering. I have tried collaborating many times before but realized I am so much better on my own. I know what I am capable of doing. I have people who support me, I get coaching when I need it and have friends who help talk through ideas with me. But at the end of the day, it is my business. My retreat, My events.
So how do I stay committed when it gets hard? I know from my own personal healing journey that the only way to get through tough times is to go through it. That’s it. You can adjust here and there but there’s no avoiding tough times. And when you walk out the other side, stronger, wiser and you see just how tough you really are, you know anything is possible. You know yourself. If you know who you are, you know you can trust the process and do the next right thing.
I have lost everything personally. My health, my friends, my money. It was my own self-sabotage. But then I woke up and decided to heal. I wanted to live and love myself again. So, I fought for ME. My integrity, my self-worth. When you hit rock bottom and you choose to climb up and out, you know you can do anything. That resilience lives in me now. I know that creating my business and living life with love is the only way I want to live. So I fight for it. I have bad days and slumps, but then I remember where I have been and know I never want to give up. Every day choosing to live life fully is all that matters. The outcome isn’t the goal. It really is about the journey.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Authenticity. I can’t say that more strongly. Your clients, no matter what service you provide, will be attracted to your authenticity. If they trust you and believe in you because you are raw and open, they will not only come back but will refer you to others. Word of mouth is the best marketing. Yes, social media presents you to a wider audience and opens up your doors, but you get them in and trying you out with your genuine nature.
Especially in the healing world, your clients need to trust you and then they believe in your services and are more willing to open up to the healing process. My goal is to create trust first. If they trust me, then they can relax and open up to the beauty of the world beyond their pain. If they are willing to believe healing is POSSIBLE, then they have won. We can never control when things change, but when you shift from “it can’t” to “it’s possible” then we are in the flow. That’s where healing begins.
Are you willing to believe it is possible to feel better? Yes, great, let’s get started.
