We were lucky to catch up with Sarah Jackson recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Sarah thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
My parents definitely have impacted my journey.
My mother is a nutritionist & holistic healer. She has taught me the ways of the kitchen help understand the usefulness of food for health.
My farther has always advised whenever I have needed him. He always helps me on the business side of things.
I feel the both of them have been responsible for creating my starting point.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Sarah Jackson, I am a Plant base food artist , owner of a plant base catering company PotnPan.
My passion is to help people create a healthy relationship with food. What we eat, how it makes us feel. We all know the saying “ If you don’t take care of your self, who will?
I do understand everyone does not want you to become vegan, and that’s fine. I still want to help you create your relationship with food so you can become the best version of you. When you eat good you feel good.
Don’t wait to go out to eat to enjoy your food or rush through your meal
Set the table take a seat’, relax, just enjoy your meal. It’s the smallest changes in life that will help you in the future.

Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.
I have always had a few side hustles. Ive always enjoyed cooking. In the past I’ve hosted brunches & dinners within the comfort of my home. One of my favorite things to do, was watch cooking shows emulating the dishes, and creating different versions of them.
In 2018 I started going through my life changes and started looking toward which direction I wanted to go in life.
My spouse mentioned I should start cooking, I would ignore him. He was very persistent. As I would cook and post on social media, they began to ask questions as well.
This was the beginning. From an idea to a no answer that became a side hustle, from a side hustle to a legal business. I still can’t believe it at times, but I’m excited to see how far Pot & Pan will go.

Do you have multiple revenue streams – if so, can you talk to us about those streams and how your developed them?
I have always loved fashion. I have a online store that will be on a pop up tour this fall called 1031.
We have the last finishing touches to your outfit. Sunglasses, shoes, and clutches. We have our summer collection dropping soon!
