We were lucky to catch up with Sarah Gibson recently and have shared our conversation below.
Sarah , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
Growing up, I was inspired by my mom, who has been in the real estate industry since 1996. Watching her truly care for her clients and go above and beyond to meet their needs taught me the values I carry into my own work today. At an early age, I helped her, learning firsthand the importance of delivering quality service, building trust, and connecting with people on a truly meaningful level.
For me, real estate is more than transactions—it’s about being part of one of the most important decisions in someone’s life. This role comes with great responsibility.
I take pride in getting to know my clients—their dreams, desires, and goals—and working tirelessly to make sure they can count on me. Building trust and forming lasting relationships with my clients and community is a joy, and I feel privileged to make new friends along the way. Real estate is my passion, and I am dedicated to making your experience seamless, positive, and stress-free.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m a real estate professional at Luxury Homes of Tennessee, and I love helping clients find their perfect place to call home in the Gretaer Nashville area. Whether it’s the rolling hills and peaceful countryside or the vibrant energy of downtown, there’s something magical about this area, and I’m passionate about sharing it with others.
Real estate felt like a natural fit for me because I truly love where I live. I fell in love with its mix of charm and culture. That connection to this city drives me to help my clients find homes that not only meet their needs but also reflect their dreams and lifestyle.
Outside of real estate, I’m a musician. Music is such a big part of Nashville’s identity, and it’s a huge part of mine, too. Being part of this creative community has taught me the importance of building meaningful connections, sharing stories, and bringing a personal touch to everything I do—all qualities I carry into my real estate work.
At Luxury Homes of Tennessee, I specialize in residential properties and strive to make the buying and selling process as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Whether you’re searching for a countryside retreat or a stylish condo in the heart of the city, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
What truly sets me apart is my focus on relationships. Real estate is about understanding what makes a house feel like home for each client. The best part of my job is seeing the joy on someone’s face when they step into their dream home for the first time.
If you love Nashville as much as I do and are looking for a partner to help you find your next home, it would be a pleasure to help you with the process. This city is more than just a place to live—it’s a lifestyle.
Have you ever had to pivot?
There was a time in my life when I had to make a significant change in my career path. As a full-time artist, I poured my heart and soul into my music. At just 16, I was offered record deals—an opportunity many dream of—but I made the difficult decision to turn them down. Staying true to my music and myself was far more important to me than following a path that didn’t align with my values.
I’ve always cherished the community I’ve built around my music, and I’m deeply thankful for the support I’ve received over the years. But the life of constant touring and being away from my family wasn’t for me. I value the time I spend with my loved ones and believe in staying authentic to who I am.
Even though my career path has shifted, music remains an essential part of my life. I still play the piano, guitar, and sing. For me, music isn’t just a skill or a profession—it’s my safe place, my outlet, and the most honest form of self-expression I have.
I’ve learned that when you truly love something, it’s important to protect it and keep it in a place of peace. Music has always been that for me. It’s where I go to feel grounded, to process emotions, and to connect with myself on a deeper level.
While I’ve moved on from pursuing music full-time, it’s still a cornerstone of who I am. I’ve found a way to balance my passion for music with my other priorities in life, and I feel incredibly grateful to continue creating and sharing it on my own terms.
When I stepped away from being a full-time artist, I was searching for a career that combined creativity, connection, and purpose. Real estate turned out to be the perfect fit.
I fell in love with Nashville’s unique culture, history, and neighborhoods. Helping others find their perfect home here felt like a meaningful way to share my passion for the city.
Real estate allows me to connect with people, build relationships, and guide them through one of life’s biggest decisions. It’s about helping clients find a place to create memories and build their future.
This career challenges and fulfills me in ways I never expected, blending strategy, creativity, and heart. It’s the perfect way to stay true to myself while making a positive impact.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I’ve been sharing my journey on social media since I was 15, and it’s been an incredible experience to grow up while connecting with others through my art. Over the years, I’ve built an audience by staying authentic and expressing my true self. From my highs to my challenges, I’ve let people see not just the polished moments, but the real ones, too.
One of the most special things about social media is how it allows you to build genuine connections. My audience has been with me through so much, and in many ways, they’ve watched me become who I am today. That connection means everything to me and reminds me of the importance of staying grounded.
If I could give one piece of advice to someone building their social media presence, it would be to stay true to yourself. A lot of social media focuses on highlighting only the high moments, but it’s okay to be real. Celebrate your wins, and stay humble during the tough times—you’ll always find a way to rise again.
I also believe in using social media to uplift others. Supporting people and finding the positive in what they share has been a rewarding part of my journey. Social media can be a powerful space for creativity, connection, and growth when we focus on authenticity and kindness.
