We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sarah Fraggis. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sarah below.
Sarah, appreciate you joining us today. Setting up an independent practice is a daunting endeavor. Can you talk to us about what it was like for you – what were some of the main steps, challenges, etc.
When I started my own business, I took out the last paycheck from my previous job that I worked for, and I found a manufacturer and purchased gua shas in bulk. My plan was to sell them. I started listening to different audio books on starting a business. I then decided to start a TikTok aimed at selling the gua shas that I had purchased. I then made a video of me demonstrating how to use a gua sha for anti-aging purposes. I went to bed that night, and the next morning my video had 80,000 views and my homegrown website had sold my first orders of gua sha from the people who saw my videos.
From that point forward, I continued to make videos using gua shas and selling them until I generated enough revenue to launch another item, which was a stainless-steel facial roller. My gua sha was marketed as the Ace of Spades gua sha, the roller was the King of Spades, and to complete the royal flush, which was my marketing idea, so I needed 3 more products. As I gained more knowledge and funds, I went on to create the complete royal flush with 3 more additional products. I did this because early on I read a book that said to create a million-dollar business in a year, you needed 4 products that sell 25 times a day at $30 a product.
Throughout my journey as an entrepreneur, I was faced with much criticism. When I would get a $30 sale, to me it meant the world, but I was knocked for it. My advice to any young entrepreneur is to stay on course and believe in yourself, because while many mocked me for my $30 sale, in my heart, I knew it would become something big. In my beginning days I was so excited for anyone who trusted me and my product and videos, that I would write lengthy hand-written notes until my hand went numb. Stay grateful, stay motivated and stay confident.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Sarah Fraggis, I am a 31-year-old mother of 2 and a current business owner. In my past I had a plethora of jobs that gave me unique individual skills that helped me take this company off the ground. In my early days, I ran an e-Bay business which taught me how to run essentially my own e-commerce site, price items and ship items. From there I went on to network marketing. That business taught me how to sell quality items with passion online. And from there I ended up working in a more formal position as a sales-customer representative, which taught me how to be more formal and professional.
The types of products I provide a skincare and beauty kits that help you get rid of wrinkles naturally and give you high-end spa treatments at home and on your own time. These kits are not only for beauty, but also make you feel good. Our kits are natural ways to get rid of wrinkles without having to resort to other intensive cosmetic procedures. It is cost and time effective. What I love about our products is that it gives people back the self-care that they might have not had the time to do now that you can do this in your home rather than having to take the time to book appointments.
I am most proud of the before and after reviews, as well as the community that I have created with our customers and bringing really thoughtful and incredible products with each new launch.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
In the early stages of my journey in creating my company, my inner circle of friends and family would critique my videos that I was so proudly sharing. They would mimic and mock me. To them, maybe they thought they were being funny, but to me it stung, which in turn lit a fire under me to continue striving for success. I trusted in God, I prayed, and he led me to this success. Shutting out the outside noise is something that I had to learn to do, as well as trusting my faith, and it hasn’t steered me wrong.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
We have a very large representation for a small woman-owned company. It is because there are a few things that I will always stay true to. When it comes to skincare, people love to see before and afters with results that they can achieve by using our products. Every single before and after, as well as person on our website are all real customers who use our system. We will never hire skincare models to represent our brand. We want to be so transparent in what we can achieve. We also offer a full 30-day money back guarantee. As a small growing company, we will always continue to do this, as well as always listen to our customer’s feedback. To be honest, sometimes I don’t even like referring to my customers as customers. I feel as if they are my friends. I love to be connected to them and the community that my brand is creating.
