We recently connected with Sarah Clark and have shared our conversation below.
Sarah , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Setting up an independent practice is a daunting endeavor. Can you talk to us about what it was like for you – what were some of the main steps, challenges, etc.

Sarah , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Stillpoint Beauty was born to create a conscious bridge to our internal and external worlds-to connect deeper to our innate intelligence of healing and to amplify our most vibrant and optimal sate of being.
Facilitating “still points” in craniosacral therapy is creating a suspension of movement in the cerebrospinal fluid. This process allows one to go deep to the source of energy that promotes clarity, strength and amplifies our health. When we meet in a state of stillness within, we are able to connect to our true nature. This deep awareness expands health to our entire being and beyond.
I began this journey shortly after moving to New York City from Northern California in 2007. I’m an internationally accredited and New York State licensed aesthetician. While studying this work and beginning my practice I became fascinated by deeper layers and patterns underneath the skin. The chemistry of topical formulations kept my interest and concern, but I was drawn beyond the products. Whats the connection to deeper physiology and anatomy? How can I tangibly feel and connect to those layers?
In 2009 I suffered a head injury which lead me to craniosacral therapy, per a clients suggestion. I was blown away by how responsive my body was, it felt incredibly healing. I continued with my skincare practice, but couldn’t shake the feeling of wanting to learn more. In 2015 I committed to studying craniosacral therapy and received my certification two years later. This work had greatly influenced my skincare practice and expanded my ability to support client’s health even further.
My goal with any treatment is to connect to your innate intelligence of healing, supporting and amplifying your health and state of being. Though skincare, tmj treatments and craniosacral sessions, I’m here to listen and guide you to your highest self. That is where true beauty radiates from.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Quality of connection with clients is how I built my reputation in this market. I thoroughly love working one on one with individuals and helping them reach their goals. Providing a safe space for clients to feel seen, heard and supported is a major part of any treatment I do.
One treatment I’ve become known for is my tmj massage. This is a specific niche that seemed needed especially in the last few years. Prior to the pandemic, most of my work was facial focused, but now is predominantly tmj and craniosacral work. My unique background combining the aesthetic and energy healing is what sets me apart. This wasn’t something I calculated to do. I follow my interests and continue to learn, I believe that’s what translates in the services I provide.
If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?
