Hi Sarah, thanks for joining us today. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?

As a wedding photographer, my biggest hope is that the photographs I take become treasured keepsakes for generations to come. I want to create images that make people pause and relive the laughter, tears, and love they felt on one of the most special days of their lives. My dream is that couples will look at these photographs decades from now, sharing them with their children and grandchildren, and feel the same joy they did on their wedding day. That’s the legacy I want to leave—a collection of timeless memories that never fade.

Alright – let’s talk about marketing or sales – do you have any fun stories about a risk you’ve taken or something else exciting on the sales and marketing side?

One of my favorite sales stories is the time I was able to offer “Pay What You Can” family photo sessions. I know how tight budgets can feel, and professional photos aren’t always in reach for everyone—but that doesn’t mean beautiful memories shouldn’t be. Giving families the chance to have cherished keepsakes, regardless of their finances, was an experience I’ll never forget. Seeing the joy in their faces when they received their photos was priceless. It reminded me why I love what I do—capturing meaningful moments for people who truly value them.

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.

I regularly check in and stay connected with my couples leading up to their wedding day because I want them to feel supported every step of the way. One of the ways I do this is by including a complimentary engagement session in every wedding package. This session gives me the chance to get to know each couple on a deeper level—hearing their love story, understanding their vision, and learning how I can best be there for them throughout this beautiful chapter of their lives. It’s not just about capturing photos; it’s about building a bond that makes them feel comfortable, cared for, and excited for their big day. Their story matters to me, and my goal is to ensure they feel that every time we connect.
