We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Sara Nicely a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Sara, appreciate you joining us today. What was one of the most important lessons you learned in school? Why did that lesson stick with you?
I attended the graphic design program at the University of Florida. The program was difficult to get accepted into and after studying for two years to prepare, I was devastated to find out I hadn’t been accepted. I knew in my heart I still wanted it, so I took a year to continue my studies. I reapplied and sure enough, my commitment and dedication paid off and I was accepted on my second try.
