We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sara Cheek. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sara below.
Alright, Sara thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
To be successful, you have to want it beyond the end goal. Success is measured through your perception of what you think that is. You have to commit to yourself, be hungry, and do the things others wouldn’t.
Sara, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m originally a salon owner. Before Covid, I had owned two salons that were both recognized as best salons in their cities. I had also been VP of the Chamber of Commerce, 2nd runner up in the Mrs. Kansas United States pageant, mom and wife. I’ve always been extremely driven, and had a big social media following. Things really took off when Covid hit and I pursued the subscription site OnlyFans because I couldn’t operate my salons. From that I’ve been offered reality shows, modeling opportunities, and brand deals. Since I am a huge college football fan, I also turned that into a business by having my own podcast called Tip Drill and appearing on Fox Sports Knoxville as a celebrity game day picker, ESPN, and The Carton and Roberts show. I’ve been able to have guests such as Brian Urlacher, Jabari Davis, Frank Martin, Alex Perez, and so much more. I am Miss October for Playboy, as I was the cover and spread. That now makes me a playmate. I was also the cover of FHM for July.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
The most important thing to building your brand on social media is to be yourself and have fun. Be true to who you are, be willing to share just enough of that, and be consistent. Don’t model yourself after anybody else, be genuine!
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
In this day and age, we don’t see very many mom models or curvy body types. I have hips, I have curves. I wanted playboy and I got it because I was true to myself and aligned myself in what it meant to get that cover but also built my accolades.
