Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Santiago Osorio. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Santiago, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
Opening a business in a state and city which are both new to me, is very expensive, very competitive, a very complex business landscape, having no family besides my wife in the area for support, knowing very little about the community and not knowing many other professional in the field.
I have made many mistakes and learned from them. But despite of it all, I have been able to move ahead.

Santiago, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am of Colombian origin but grew up and lived in NJ for 15 years before moving to Oceanside, CA. While I was in college, I knew I wanted to help other but was not sure If I wanted to commit my life to a degree in Medicine. While in my 2nd year of college, I hurt my back and had a good experience there. It was then I committed my time to becoming a physical therapist.
I help others improve their quality of life by getting rid of pain and/or helping them achieve their goals.
What sets me aside from others is that I am not afraid to invest in the best tools, technology and classes to improve my skills and services. I go beyond of what others offer most of the time. This is perhaps what makes me most proud is our willingness to improve and do more. Not be complaisant.
I really want our clinic to be the best so people dont mind driving to use 1 hour to receive the best quality

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
We open in February 2020. Right before Covid hit. It was tough. Our expenses piled up, the PPP was not big enough since we had just open, and we were NEW. No one knew us.
But through support from my wife and others, we push through.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Building relationships with our patients and referral partners. I think that is the most important way to build our reputation within our markets.
