We were lucky to catch up with Sandy Veilleux recently and have shared our conversation below.
Sandy, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We believe kindness is contagious and so we’d love for you to share with us and our audience about the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?
Believed in me.
Think about it. Really though. This could reach as far back as you want to go or as close to the right about now.
Support can create dialogue, opportunities, and partnerships that can build confidence, bridges and solutions!
This is the very base of everything that is possible in my daily life!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
At the moment, home base is a Farmer’s Market on the West Side of Pensacola. The Farm.
It has become quite the hub for a great number of projects and also the home of another great venture- The Black Garlic Market. Just honored to be growing a family business once started by a dear friend, Paul D’amico. Our market has evolved
so much since Paul & his dad broke ground in 1987! Still the same love for promoting local farmers but now mixed with food trucks, pop up vendors, social food programs, guest Chefs and so much more! Teaming up with start up creatives has really
given this place a new and much needed facelift!

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Serve and be of service
There is great strength in creating a base on true qualities and needing others.
I am inspired daily by the most amazing of people that have dedicated their careers to creating a path
with others to move forward, change the face of food insecurity and build a stronger community.
There are so many moving parts to making this possible -The Farm is an excellent home base for
such adventures!

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
We have teamed up with a great group of like minded phenoms at The Red Iron Design House.
Not only do they maintain and grow all of our social media but I dare say that Karen & Doug Jolly and Lisa Long
have become much more than mentors in the past few years. They have taken our intellectually quirky brand
and created such a following that we had to have murals painted on our building to look the part!!
Teaming up with this group of talented people pushes us to grow into the best version of ourselves to best
serve our clients and our community.
Best decision we all ever made together!
