We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sandy Tabacinic. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sandy below.
Sandy, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.
One of the things that makes me stand out from the rest of the industry is the fact that I look at construction and remodeling from a woman’s point of view. Every detail in design and construction is geared towards family life, and the way you run a home. From closet spaces to fun Design. Every detail will take into consideration an entire entire family.
Sandy, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I first started as an investor in the home remodel and resale industry. As time went by. I was asked from some of my clients too. Add features to the homes I had just sold. So I begin a remodeling company.
I do not take a lot of jobs at the same time, I like to give the clients attention. It isn’t important to consider all aspects when designing a home. But it is more important to be punctual and to be able to deliver a job on time.
It is also a big advantage being able to be flexible with changes and additions when the clients need it. We tried to be as flexible as possible so the process is an enjoyable one.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
During the market drop, it was the ability to work from referrals, and happy clients that allow us to stay stay in business when a lot of companies had to shut down
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
At the beginning of my career, I felt like there was a gap between what I wanted to achieve and what was actually coming my way in terms of business. I was able to get into the local TV channels doing quick fixes for homes and giving advice on home maintenance. That was something that helped my business boost and grow exponentially, when it would have probably taken another five years to grow that much
