We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sandy Noel. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sandy below.
Sandy, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Often outsiders look at a successful business and think it became a success overnight. Even media and especially movies love to gloss over nitty, gritty details that went into that middle phase of your business – after you started but before you got to where you are today. In our experience, overnight success is usually the result of years of hard work laying the foundation for success, but unfortunately, it’s exactly this part of the story that most of the media ignores. Can you talk to us about your scaling up story – what are some of the nitty, gritty details folks should know about?
Scaling up is definitely a tough thing to do. I found myself always finding creative strategies to stand out and to really grab my audiences attention. I did what my competition wasn’t doing. This opened up a new lane for me and It also gave my brand a sense of authenticity. To scale up you must understand data analytics and trends. I devoted the first 3 months of my fairly new business venture (My spa) analyzing trends, data, and finding different ways to reach my audience. I will say that you must go extremely hard for your business because no one will go as hard as YOU.
A lot of trials and error helped me find a steady flow for my brand. I knew that I wanted customer service to be the driving force of my brand and I vowed to provide exceptional service to my clients to increase my client retention rate. There were some days where I made money and some days when I didn’t make money but regardless of the day I learned a lesson. I would say never giving up and remaining consistent has also allowed me to scale my brand.
We all have goals, dreams, and aspirations and although my business is not where I imagined it to be, it has definitely come a long way in a short amount of time. Scaling up requires the willingness to learn and grow from mistakes whether big or small. Determination also plays a part in scaling up. You can’t expect to make $1000 a week for your business but yet you only give your business a minimum of 5 hours a week. You must be heavily invested into your brand and company.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
Hello,
My name is Sandy Noel and I am a licensed esthetician, spa owner, Certified herbal coach, and beauty instructor. The name of my company is Belle Naturelle Beauty. I started my company in May of 2018 with my natural skincare line. Since launching, I have helped hundreds of individuals with skin disorders, fertility issues, self confidence/esteem issues, and health related issues. I practice holistic skincare where I use natural botanicals and ingredients to help heal the body and rid it of certain health complications. We have a variety of products that we make and sell such as natural soaps, hair care products, body scrubs, body butters, yoni steams, and natural tea blends.
I believe what sets my brand apart from others is the knowledge that I provide and the results that come from using my products. Before releasing products there is a tedious process that follows. We take months sometimes years to formulate products. We’re not in the business for a “quick sale”. We do it because we love it. You can tell how passionate I am about my clients and customers through my brand and interactions.
I also believe that in order to educate your audience you must be knowledgeable about the things in your field. The quickest way to tarnish your credibility is to not know anything about your field of work. Always study your craft.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I built my audience on social media by being consistent and relevant. I would post even when I didn’t have a desire to be on social media. You have to make every day count and you have to be intentional with your post. Who are you trying to target? What is the message you’re trying to get across? What is your goal? I honestly say be yourself. Be authentic and show your personality through your brand. Your social media presence must tell a story. One thing that I do understand is that people love a good story.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The best source of new clients for me has been google and social media. One of the first questions I ask my new clients is “How did you hear about us?” and their response is always google or social media. This shows me that my brand Is being seen and that I should continue targeting those Avenues.
