We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Sandra Stevens Smalls a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Sandra , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?

The establishment of the S3 Unstoppable Faith Movement and the FaithWalk Coaching Institute is a story of resilience, hope, and the power of unstoppable faith. My journey to founding these initiatives began at one of the lowest points in my life, marked by a devastating cancer diagnosis that seemed like an insurmountable obstacle. Yet, it was through this adversity that the seeds for a movement of empowerment and hope were sown.

As a cancer survivor, I endured 15 grueling rounds of chemotherapy, each session testing the limits of my physical and emotional endurance. The toll was heavy, and the prognosis grim. I was informed that my only chance for survival was an autologous stem cell transplant, a complex and risky procedure with no guarantees. Time was running out, and the shadow of uncertainty loomed large.

However, it was in this suffering that my faith became my fortress. I leaned heavily into my belief in God, finding solace and strength in prayer and the support of my faith community. Miraculously, the stem cell transplant was a success, marking the beginning of a long journey to recovery.

Today, I stand as a testament to the power of faith and the possibility of miracles—a walking miracle, as some would say.The experience of facing death and emerging victorious ignited a fire within me to share my story and the power of faith with others. I recognized that my journey was not just for me to bear but was a beacon of hope for others facing their own battles.

Thus, the S3 Unstoppable Faith Movement was born—a community dedicated to empowering individuals to tap into their faith, overcome life’s obstacles, and embrace their unstoppable spirit.

The FaithWalk Coaching Institute followed, with a mission to provide more structured support and guidance. It was established as a platform to coach and mentor individuals through their personal and spiritual challenges, utilizing faith-based principles to navigate the complexities of life. The institute offers workshops, seminars, and one-on-one coaching, tailored to help individuals forge their path of resilience, hope, and empowerment.

The driving force behind these initiatives is the belief in the i power of faith to move mountains, heal wounds, and transform lives. By sharing my story and the stories of others who have overcome incredible odds, I aim to inspire a movement of unstoppable faith. Sandra Stevens Smalls hails from the heart of Midway, Georgia, where she was nurtured in the vibrant Seabrook Community. Born to the late Deacon Paige Stevens Jr. and Sister Anna Stevens, Sandra is the cherished youngest sibling of Bobby L. Stevens and the late Randolph K. Stevens.

At the core of her life’s ministry are her two beloved children, Ashley Roberson (married to Chris) and Nathaniel D. Smalls, along with her treasured grandchildren: “CJ” Julius Christopher Roberson III, Wesley Paige Roberson, and Andrew Lennox Roberson.

From a young age, Sandra embraced her faith at Palmyra Missionary Baptist Church, where she now dedicates herself to pastoral care. Her journey of faith has seen her supporting numerous ministries across the Christian community, underlining her identity as a devout woman of God and a steadfast believer in faith.

Sandra’s roles extend beyond her spiritual contributions; she is an accomplished author, a respected community leader, a driven entrepreneur, and a pastor whose dedication to nurturing faith in others is recognized far and wide.Sandra’s life story is one of resilience and inspiration; as a cancer survivor, she shares a powerful testimony of healing and hope, reinforcing her belief in God’s restorative power. Beyond her pastoral duties, Sandra is a certified faith life coach through P4 Coaching Institute
and heads FaithWalkCoachingInstitute. She a certified Cancer Care Counselor. Holding a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management, Sandra’s academic background complements her diverse professional and ministerial endeavors. Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

My journey through two cancer diagnoses is a testament to resilience and the profound strength drawn from faith in God. In 2013, after enduring 12 rounds of chemotherapy, I faced the heart-wrenching news of my cancer’s recurrence, which was now considered inoperable. This period was one of immense challenge, yet it deepened my reliance on my faith, becoming a source of unyielding strength and hope.

In 2014, despite the daunting prognosis, I underwent three more rounds of chemotherapy, followed by an autologous stem cell transplant. This rigorous treatment was both a physical and spiritual trial, pushing me to the limits of my endurance. Throughout this ordeal, my faith was my anchor, providing me with the courage to face each day and the hope for a miracle.The success of the stem cell transplant was not just a medical victory but a reaffirmation of my faith. It taught me that even in our darkest moments, when faced with seemingly insurmountable challenges, faith can guide us through and lead us to a new beginning.

This journey of survival has inspired me to share my story, hoping to encourage others facing their battles. It’s why I founded the S3 Unstoppable Faith Movement and the FaithWalk Coaching Institute, to spread the message that with faith, resilience, and community support, we can overcome any obstacle.
