We caught up with the brilliant and insightful San Martin Rodriguez a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
San Martin, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Before we talk about all of your success, let’s start with a story of failure. Can you open up about a time when you’ve failed?
Hey there! So, you know how in some sports events such as boxing, you might face some tough challenges before you can level up? Well, my life has been a bit like that too. Imagine this: I’ve had a bunch of relationships and a marriage that didn’t work out, kind of like when you try to build the coolest LEGO tower, but it keeps falling down. It’s like I was trying to solve a tricky puzzle, but some pieces just didn’t fit right.
And then, picture this: I’ve teamed up with different business partners, hoping to create something amazing, like a team in a sports game aiming for the championship. But guess what? Sometimes our strategies didn’t match, and it was like we were playing different games altogether.
But you know what’s cool? Every time something didn’t work out, I learned something new. It’s like when you play a game and you lose, but you figure out a better way to play next time. These experiences have taught me to be patient, to communicate better, and to understand that not everything will always go the way I want.
Life’s a bit like a treasure hunt, sometimes you find gems, and other times, you hit a few roadblocks. But here’s the exciting part: every challenge I’ve faced has helped me become stronger and smarter. It’s like I’ve been gathering tools and skills in my backpack, getting ready for the next adventure. And who knows? Maybe the next relationship or partnership will be the one where everything clicks, just like when you finally complete that tricky level in your favorite game. So, I’m staying positive and looking forward to what’s next on my journey!
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
You know, life has been a bit like a cool adventure for me, where I’m exploring both normal stuff and super exciting things. I’ve got this awesome energy that draws people in, and my heart is full of love and care.
I’ve become known as a big deal in a few different areas. On the internet, I’m like a mix of fascinating stories, really interesting thoughts, and a totally unique way of looking at things. People love hanging out with me online because I’m just being myself – no pretending here!
But it’s not just about the online world. I care a lot about making the real world better too. I’m like a superhero who’s always looking for ways to help out. I start all kinds of cool projects to lend a hand to people who need it. It’s like I’m on a mission to spread kindness and make the world brighter.
You know, I’ve got this amazing skill of bringing people together. It’s like when you invite all your friends over for a fun day, and everyone has a blast! I’m great at planning things and leading the way. Whether it’s making awesome community projects or being a rock during tough times, I’m all about keeping everyone strong and united.
But here’s one of my coolest talents – I’m like a wizard at making unforgettable parties and events. Imagine stepping into a world of pure magic and joy – that’s what I create! Every little detail shines with my creativity, and I make sure everyone has an incredible time that they’ll remember forever.
So, in a nutshell, I’m this caring and creative person who’s making waves online and offline. My goal? To inspire people, show them what leadership is all about, and spread happiness everywhere I go. Let’s make the virtual and real worlds awesome together!
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Like a phoenix emerging from the ashes, I once found myself in a place that felt like rock bottom. I had faced some tough times and made some not-so-great decisions in my business ventures, which led me to a point where I was considered “homeless.” I had lost my car, my house, and the support network that I once relied on. It was a challenging time, and the only refuge I found was on my father’s couch.
Even though it went against the rules of his housing agreement, my father generously allowed me to stay there. I became a shadow, sneaking in and out, all while pursuing my dreams with The Prescott Times Media. It was a difficult journey, but I was determined to turn things around.
Amidst the struggles, a glimmer of hope emerged. I met someone special, a gal who shared my determination and dreams. Together, we decided to support each other and grow our businesses. And then, just as we were finding our footing, the world was hit by the unrelenting wave of Covid-19. But here’s the thing – we didn’t let that stop us. Instead, we used the challenging time as an opportunity to come together even stronger.
With resilience burning in our hearts, we united our efforts and built our dream businesses side by side. Though circumstances took a turn and our partnership came to an end, both of us held our heads high. We remained undeterred, refusing to be defeated. Each mountain that stood before us became a new challenge to conquer, a new opportunity to prove our strength.
And so, like a pair of determined climbers, we continue to ascend the mountains of life, facing each obstacle head-on and never losing sight of the heights we aspire to reach. Just like a phoenix, we rise from the ashes of adversity, fueled by our unwavering spirit and the belief that our dreams are worth every effort and every challenge we encounter along the way.
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
With a determination to defy convention, I boldly ventured into the world of business. You see when you’re setting up a business, the upfront costs can often be overwhelming. But instead of following the usual path, I chose to take a road less traveled. I embarked on a journey to create something extraordinary, starting from scratch. And guess what? It’s not just successful – it’s a six-figure triumph.
I flipped the script by turning what could have been just another startup into a thriving enterprise. I harnessed the power of innovation and hard work, transforming my vision into reality. The tools at my disposal, like social media, became more than just resources – they were my strategic arsenal in a battle for success.
I labeled my investment as a “social investment.” Why? Because it wasn’t just about money; it was about investing my time, my energy, and my passion. I poured myself into this endeavor, and the payoff was immense.
I stood out by showing up, day in and day out, no matter the challenges that came my way. Consistency became my secret weapon – a force that propelled me forward, even when the odds seemed stacked against me. I became a beacon of unwavering dedication, an embodiment of grit and resilience.
Through the channels of social media, I showcased not only my business but also my commitment to making a difference in my community. I proved that I wasn’t just in it for myself; I was there to uplift, support, and guide others. I used the platforms to not only brand my business but also to help others brand theirs. My community became my canvas, and I painted it with vibrant hues of collaboration and empowerment.
In the end, my journey wasn’t just about profits; it was about creating a legacy. I stood tall in the face of convention, carved my own path, and turned unconventional choices into a resounding success. Through determination, innovation, and an unyielding commitment to my community, I proved that going against the grain isn’t just a choice – it’s a triumphant declaration of what’s possible.
