We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Samuel Johnson a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Samuel , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your creative career sooner or later?

I wish I had started sooner because I was young, energic, vibrant and I had no responsibility.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Music was my first love. I often impersonate artist like Michael Jackson, Prince, New Edition and many more. What I am most proud of is staying grounded and humbled. One of the main things I want my fans to know about me is that I love what I do and that my fans leave with a positive experience. Lastly, I am thankful for my fans and supporters.

How did you build your audience on social media?

The way I built my audience on social media was by creating my “Boocoo Brand Apparel” and by hosting/singing at many events

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding thing about being an artist is the joy of performing in front of the crowd, the happiness on the fans faces and the joy that I feel from the fans knowing that I have touched someone soul.
