We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Samsara a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Samsara, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s the best or worst investment you’ve made (either in terms of time or money)? (Note, these responses are only intended as entertainment and shouldn’t be construed as investment advice)
The best investment I could have ever made was in myself.
It sounds cliché, but taking the time and investing the money into my own soul searching, self study, taking classes, and completing courses has lead me to an unshakeable foundation of knowing who I am. It has helped me to truly know what I love to do and what people want to see most from me. Learning about my unique gene keys and human design has been huge in that self discovery process. Knowing what I bring to the table and what self-perpetuates my energy makes me confident in the projects I am working on; music, OnlyFans, and soon- a clothing line. The real goal is to be a mogul one day, when all is said and done, and have a lifestyle empire centered around self-empowerment.
My entrepreneurial journey took full form in April, 2020 when I was laid off due to Covid. I invested the money I was getting from unemployment and the stimulus checks into my yoga teacher training with Soul Ascension Healing Arts, Buti Yoga training, a reiki certification, Break Method- a self mastery course, a human design business coach, DJ classes, music production classes, a manifestation course called To Be Magnetic, and 6 weeks of mental health treatment and therapeutic ketamine infusions at Florida House Experience.
It has been a DOOZY learning so much about myself and reworking limited beliefs and old self sabotaging patterns that blocked me from being successful. I just finished the ketamine therapy about 4 weeks ago (from the time of writing this) and am SO happy to say I AM FINALLY INTEGRATED, BETCH.
After years of soul searching and chasing my calling, I finally feel like I have all of the answers to what I’ve been seeking and can stop changing my brand and offerings. All of the courses that I’ve done have been extremely helpful but To Be Magnetic truly changed my life completely and it’s less than $25 a month. START THERE, MY FRIEND!
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers?
I am a musician, author, model, designer, and dancer. To sum it up; I just vibe!
I am a whirlwind of creativity. I like to create and create and create and have fun. I like my life to be exciting and flirty and limitless. I love living in the world of yes; if I think it, I will do it. I am most inspired listening to music and out in nature. I bring that experience to my fans by performing most of my shows outside. I do not drink alcohol and like to create a sexy, open space for dancing and connection at my shows, and online, without alcohol or abusing substances. I feel like a lot of people associate sobriety with boredom. I want the things I do to be kind of crazy like you would think I’m drinking or on drugs but it’s just high on life. I play a lot of techno, indie dance, and house music– drug music, honestly. People see that and want to experience that kind of authentic connection, community, and freedom without substances because it’s coming from a real place and you don’t need any external substance to access the same fun again.
We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
I’m really excited about the future of NFTs. I’m working on a subscription NFT for exclusive contenting creating a VR/AR experience around spicy content, music, and some of my favorite healing modalities. More to come later! But definitely follow me on Instagram or OnlyFans to be the first to know.
How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
Artists need to be supported in their developmental stages; when they are learning who they are, how to use their voice, and developing their craft into a profitable business. Back in the Renaissance Era, we saw the most beautiful art and inventions. Families like the Medici’s supported Michelangelo and Leonardo as they were an apprentice and beginning to develop their masterpieces. As a society, we all benefited from this. Like the Renaissance Era, we need to value and help cushion artists in their first few years to help them move up Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs and go from survival to self-actualization. It is almost physically impossible to be creative when you are worried about food and shelter.
I hope that DAO’s and NFT’s will be able to support this in the future. I know I will be advocating to see that happen and helping young artists in any way that I can throughout my career. I’ve already begun donating 10% of my profits to help such causes.
