Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Sameera Bulusu. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Sameera, appreciate you joining us today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
The introduction of Mandala art brought about numerous positive outcomes and personal growth, both emotional and spiritual. This art form is such a grounding experience to my inner being.
It commenced during the COVID-19 pandemic, when we were all under lockdown. At that time, my beckoning guided me through an unfamiliar path and territory. I embarked on online classes, which marked the beginning of an extraordinary journey that continues to this day. The intrigue of a mere dot transforming into an extraordinary canvas of patterns, symmetry, and colors captivated me and immediately drew me in.
As I progress till date, I explore various possibilities, techniques, and methods for crafting and diversifying my art. I let the process flow onto the board with beautiful color combinations. I learn from my mistakes, and the desire to satisfy my creative urge remains persistent.
I find this art form profoundly sacred and meditative to say the least. The colors draw the viewer in, creating an hypnotic effect.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Each day, I am filled with gratitude for the authenticity and genuineness that my art conveys to its viewers. Through my artworks, I aspire to evoke a sense of tranquility, comfort, and inner peace within individuals. The vibrant colors, intricate textures, and harmonious patterns embody positivity that nurture happiness from within.
Building a clientele is not a one-day task; it requires years of learning from mistakes. The most important aspect is to maintain consistency and relatability.
I believe that an artist’s true essence is reflected in their art. Their heart, imagination, and soul connect them to their audience.
I am eternally grateful and thankful for all my clients. Authenticity, joy and positivity sustain the momentum.

Can you share one of your favorite marketing or sales stories?
Establishing networks through art exhibitions is one of my most cherished aspects of managing my dream small business. Hard work and perseverance serve as my driving forces. My unwavering support comes from my family—my devoted husband, my two young children who assist me in every art show display setup, and their unwavering encouragement.
The journey is arduous, but it is an inevitable part of the process, and all the effort seems worthwhile. Each art piece possesses a unique narrative, and the careful selection of colors contributes significantly to its overall impact.
As an artist, I am immensely proud of the outcomes of my art exhibitions. The joy and happiness my art brings to people’s faces fills me with immense fulfillment. The interactions with fellow vendors and taking those friendships along is one of the best things about these shows!
During one such art exhibition, a generous client conveyed that my art resonated deeply with them, underscoring the profound impact of an artist’s work. They left with multiple artworks and expressed their difficulty in making a choice. When buyers comprehend the meticulous effort invested in the creation of art, they develop a deeper appreciation for its value. This realization reinforces my belief in the universe’s alignment with my chosen path.
