We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Samayah Islam. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Samayah below.
Samayah, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think it takes to be successful?
What I think it takes to be successful is to always stay true to yourself, stand on your values, never compare yourself to others just because they might be in the same field as you and my biggest piece of advice is stay humble and faithful.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am a licensed esthetician and I also have a clothing line located in Columbus Ohio, I started my clothing business at the peak of covid and a year later went on to start my skin care business I wanted to have multiple streams of income for my family just in case something like that happened again I enjoy servicing customers and creating items that I can be proud of and I want to make sure that each encounter I have with a client that it’s an unforgettable experience as well as an enjoyable one.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best way for me personally for gaining new clients is word of mouth and also social media, network as much as you can and always promote yourself you never know who’s watching or listening.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I think showing your clients/customers that you actually care and reassuring them that they’re special in a way always helps they’re supporting you so show them some gratitude as well.
