We recently connected with Samara Gallagher and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Samara thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
I want to spend the rest of my life trying new cuisines/flavors. I never want to stop exploring and sharing the goodies I find. I want more people to stop being afraid to try new food and get out of their comfort zone. Orlando has so many gems and you don’t have to travel too far just to get something amazing.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Samara. My friends call me Sam for short. My handle on all social media is: Sam Thee Foodie. I was born and raised in Orlando Florida and I LOVE food.
I started my Foodie journey by going to different Happy Hours on Fridays after work. I was just treating myself and it blossomed into so much more than just that.
I started documenting my experiences and taking pictures to share on my social media. Strangers started engaging with me. They gave recommendations and invited me to join their foodie groups. I gained a small following and that motivated me to share on different platforms.
I love food. I love cooking and sampling and giving an honest review even when no one asked LOL
I am most proud of my friends and followers who may not be as adventurous trying new foods and restaurants because I posted about them. I actually like it when people ask me for recommendations also—they care about my opinion. That makes me feel like a real influencer.
I just want everyone to stop being afraid to try new foods. There’s so much more to this world than chicken tenders and French fries.
Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
There are so many Foodies and Chefs’ videos that I have watched online from YouTube to Instagram and Tik Tok. They have been perfecting their craft for years and are still working to expand their brands.
My faves are: Red Lip Foodie, The Kitchenista, Chef Bae, and Deepfried Honey just to name a few.
They inspire me. They are well known in the community. They are true entrepreneurs. These foodies have taught me that anything is possible and you never know who’s watching.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for me to grow my audience is to keep being authentic and consistent.
I am passionate about food. It never gets old to me. I haven’t been bored with it yet. I am always looking for new recipes and methods to try. I love switching things up and keep it fresh.
