We recently connected with Samantha Smith and have shared our conversation below.
Samantha , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
Our mission at Go Doggie is to help busy pet parents give their dog the best life possible. After Covid we saw an influx in people taking their dogs they got during the pandemic to shelters because they just didn’t have the time to exercise them or spend time working with them the way they could previously working from home. We started this business because we are passionate about keeping dogs of the streets and out of shelters and euthanasia lists.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Samantha Smith and I am the founder and co-owner of Go Doggie Mobile. I was a professional dog trainer prior to launching my business for 4 years and saw a need for more exercise and enrichment for working pet parents. We offer convenience and harmony brought back to your household with a well exercised canine companion. We offer a variety of enrichment and exercise options for all breeds and ages, as well as private [lay dates with a vetted and socialized coonhound named Todd! Our one-on-one approach allows us to give our full focus to your pup and allows us to customize our activities and exercise to their specific needs.
We are passionate about keeping dogs out of shelters, off of the streets, and off of euthanasia lists.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing clientele for Go Doggie has been networking and word of mouth. We offer a $10 referral bonus to any client who refers another client to us, Our clients refer several people to us a month and it’s been the most effective and low-cost form of marketing for us. We also network with local businesses here in Memphis and that has proven to bring us some clientele as well.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
Many of my clients have become friends of mine because of the intimate nature of my job. I feel comfortable asking them for feedback on where we can improve and where we are ahead of the curve, Thankfully, I am still in the field daily interacting with clients and dogs. This has been an advantage when building lasting relationships with clients and creating brand loyalty because they see my face and they see me in action. Providing a top-notch service and keeping the passion for what we do in the forefront of it all has been a great way to keep clients as well as build brand loyalty. Everyone wants to feel like they matter and they’re not just another number, we want to serve our clients the absolute best way we can for them and their furry friend.
