We were lucky to catch up with Sam Le recently and have shared our conversation below.
Sam, appreciate you joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
For me, Les’ Unlimited is not just a company; it’s a heartfelt endeavor to connect with people on a profound level. I believe in the power of words, and in my small corner of the world, I use poetry as a means to express my perspectives on life, both its joys and its sorrows.
My mission is simple yet profound: I want to heal people through my writing. Life can be a rollercoaster of emotions, and my poems serve as a sanctuary where people can find solace, understanding, and above all, relatability.
In the realm of Les’ Unlimited, sadness and happiness coexist harmoniously. I believe that by acknowledging and embracing the entire spectrum of human emotions, we can foster healing and understanding. My poems are not just my stories; they are stories that belong to someone.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
At Les’ Unlimited, I craft poetry that encapsulates the myriad emotions and experiences that define the human condition. My poems touch upon themes of love, loss, resilience, and hope, resonating with readers on a deeply personal level. I offer a range of creative works, from poignant verses that explore the depths of human emotions to uplifting poems that celebrate the beauty of life’s simplest and saddest moments.
Thank you for asking that question, that is so nice.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being an artist is the cathartic process of translating my emotions, whether they stem from pain or happiness, into words. Writing serves as a profound outlet, allowing me to express the depths of my experiences. What brings immense fulfillment is the hope that someone, somewhere, can relate to what I’ve been through. When others find resonance in my words and apply them to their own lives, it creates a powerful connection. It’s this shared understanding that makes the creative journey incredibly meaningful to me. In other words, It IS SO COOLLLLLLL”
I like that question!
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
For me I learned the more I write, the more I keep writing. And the more I keep writing, the greater my improvement becomes. I come a place where you are expected to deal with your own emotions and don’t bring it to the dinner table. In writing I find peace and joy no therapist can do for me. I always told myself whenever I had a bad day, I would at least write about my feelings in the form of poetry and be proud of my work at the end. This is my coping mechanism. Writing is a way I can turn something sad and tragic that happened in my life and write it into art.
