We recently connected with Sam Hawley and have shared our conversation below.

Sam, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

For the media company, it’s all based around passion projects and bringing client’s vision to reality. Also doing things we love in the fields we love to be involved in. For the charity/ foundation it’s all based on helping people and giving back, especially to the place that saved my life. Duke is the hospital that did my operation and all I want to do is help provide funding for anyone that needs it and parts of it go into research to help find cures. My events are based around health and fitness and raising money to be donated.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

My media company has been flowing very well with projects and a team. When I was diagnosed with a cancer brain tumor, my focus shifted to beating it and taking care of what was necessary for my health. I have defeated it and now my focus has shifted more around what can I do for others. My media company still has projects coming through consistently, but my passion has shifted from that industry to helping people anyway I can and providing inspiration into peoples lives that want it.

How did you build your audience on social media?

I built my audience on social media through putting out there why I’m on this earth, what I love to do and what provides me with passion. To help and to provide inspiration to anyone that needs help or anyone that craves inspiration.
