Sammy is, among many things, a true connoisseur of cannabis. During his 5+ years in the industry, Sam has cultivated an industry-wide relevance through his shining personality and captivating online presence. As his relationship with the plant flourished so did his curiosity. Sam soon fell in love with quality cannabis extracts and dabbing; if you see him out he probably has dabs with him, but don’t worry – he always serves his friends first! Thus #DabDaddy was conceived, an embodiment of Sam’s passion for quality entertainment, extracts, and education! Fast forward to AyPapi, the germination of a lifestyle Sam has become so well known for; quality in both cannabis and life. What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
By being as authentic, genuine and as real as possible, by doing what we say we are going to do as a brand. Creating job opportunities for our community, bringing light and positive vibes. Saying on top of payments taking care of all our amazing farmers, squashers and giving them the most support possible.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
Being an actor and a creative in Hollywood is already tough! But when the pandemic hit, it became even harder to find work, many people even moved away from LA. This is when my work dove more heavily into the wellness and cannabis industry and then creating AyPapi! – I’m low key thankful for it because that is when the beautiful idea of my brand what is now AyPapiCo.
