Sally, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?

Do you sing with the same fun, freedom, and passion as you make love? You can… with the right tools. Hi, I’m Sally Morgan, the Sing Like You Speak® lady. I developed the contemporary Vocal technique,Sing Like You Speak®.
I discovered this new add-on to Sing Like You Speak® after a lovely intimate time with my man. From that I developed a 5-Step process to help you sing effortlessly – including the Gasp of Pleasure Inhale!
The techniques help you get out of the critical mind and into the happy body. Truth is, your body knows how to sing as instinctively as it knows how to make love.
Both lovemaking and singing release the feel-good hormones, oxytocin the love drug, they also relieve stress and increase self-confidence. And by combining the two, we got real gold.

Sally, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Hi there, I’m Sally Morgan, singer-songwriter, pianist, voice teacher, author, director, workshop leader, Keynote Speaker. I developed the Sing Like You Speak® vocal technique. I was born singing and loving music and never thought of any other career path. The path has led me to develop many skills that have to do with music and the voice. As a creative you must be skilled in different areas of your craft. People I help range from singers, songwriters and actors to business folks, professionals who speak publicly. I’ve been musical director in a theater – loved that job – developed online training for speakers and singers, written love songs for weddings and memorials, acted on stage and film, performed cabarets (NYC), and the list goes on.
I realized early on that one of my greatest skills was teaching others how to sing. I just had an instinct about how to help. My proudest accomplishment was developing the Sing Like You Speak® vocal technique that is helping singers all over the world to sing with power, freedom and confidence – without sounding trained. It’s like taking to your best friend. Effortless singing that is happiness itself!
It’s a thrill to witness my students go from struggling to oh, that’s easy! From trapped to vocal freedom. From dull and disconnected to passionate!

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

I empower voices which empowers lives. When you know the power of your own voice, your own story, and feel confident sharing it in a way that others honor your story, you feel the power. Standing in your power removes any aggression. You don’t need it because you know you are powerful just being.
Helping people find that voice and develop it, bring it back to natural strength is thrilling. I believe I am promoting peace.
A truly powerful person is peaceful. Nothing to prove. A bully does not feel powerful. A bully feels as though no one hears him. Give that bully a voice and listen and the real individual is revealed.

Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

Absolutely. I wish I had known that I am my best creative resource. It’s not about others giving me permission to create or getting their approval. I wish I had known that all I need is within me. My job is to feel it and use it.
