We recently connected with Saint Bricc and have shared our conversation below.
Bricc, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you tell us about an important lesson you learned while working at a prior job?
To sum it up we were asked to drive “company vehicles” to a job site in Minnesota. For a fiber optics job for a company based out of Houston. We were told not to bring anything but clothes and shoes. There was supposed to be $100 a day per diem and a fully furnished air bnb for the living quarters. We were asked to leave immediately and told training would start after one rest day. When we arrived at the location, it ended up being a rental house with no furniture not even beds. There were 3 guys “2 under 18” there and had been for 2 weeks with no work, little money, and barely any food. I went to Walmart bought food and cooked for all of us, there wasn’t a drop left poor kids were hungry. We were told drivers licenses weren’t required just IDs and once we got vehicles there they sent the guys with no DLs home on the bus. So they were allowed to drive 16 hours without one just to be sent home and not paid. Then we didn’t start work for 3 weeks and werent properly trained to do the dangerous utility work. We were never paid per diem and were told the house was per diem, but they moved a crew from another company in making it a total of 12 people in a 6 bedroom house. 2 vehicles broke down on the way up and the rest later down the line. Despite us being optimistic it never got any better. I spent more money taking care of everyone and myself than I made actually working. Even though ultimately time and money was wasted I learned a very valuable lesson. Most don’t care about you only about what you can do for them. Once your done doing or can’t they don’t care about you. Not all people are bad but the code doesn’t exist anymore and everybody playing for self. To sum it up, PUT YOU FIRST! Make sure you good first not many will if you don’t.

Saint, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

How did you build your audience on social media?
Social media is all in the algorithms but I’ve also realized the more followers you have the more people want to follow you so don’t be caught up in are you following too many in the beginning. It will Al balance out when u take the time to unfollow the ones who don’t support I also have engagement group that I offer.
Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
48 laws of power
Even if you don’t read it too use daily read it to know when it’s being used.
