Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Sadie Garza . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Sadie, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
My mom definitely allowed me to be who I was always. She encouraged me to be creative and never looked down on any ideas I came up with or ventures I wanted to peruse. This really allowed me to come into my spiritual self. Even as a child I was gifted and I believe it any one recognized that it was my mother.
Sadie, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I was born in South Texas where Brujas, Tarot Readers and Root work is more common than you would think. Latin/Mexican culture has these types of people all through our blood lines for generations back. My great grandmother was a Curandera or a Mexican folk healer in South Texas where I was born. She was very much connected to nature, spirit and was a tarot reader and strong healer and I always knew that I would also have many of the same gifts.
In 2017 I opened Brujalogy to provide not only spiritual products but also as a way to provide my services and knowledge to others. It’s been a long journey here but I’m thankful for every single one of my clients and those who believe in me for their spiritual needs.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Social media is social media and everyone needs to utilize it in some form. I’m very thankful to have had a following for a long time in my home city of Houston as well as my work In the LGBT community. I started doing YouTube and gained a rather big following there in the early 2010’s and that following allowed me to grow in most of my social media platforms.
I would love to grow my channels all every more in the future and even dedicate time to YouTube again.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
During Covid the world shut down and Brujalogy was my only source of income. I that time I learned to source new products and was doing really well. Once covid ended and people were now able to go back to the botanica’s and spiritual stores I decided to go back to the corporate world. The goal is to have a store front and this was my plan to have one.
I now run Brujalogy and also help in tissue donations in Texas.
