We recently connected with Sadie Fine and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Sadie, thanks for joining us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
I started singing at the age of 3, but as a child I never thought of it as a career I could pursue until around 13 years old. At 13 I had just moved across the country from South Dakota to Tennessee, I was being heavily bullied and music felt like my only outlet. I began playing shows and releasing music and I realized it was my passion. I have been working my hardest to make it happen ever since!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I started by gigging 4 to 5 times a week in Nashville for almost 3 years. While doing this I began posting on Instagram and youtube until one day a small independent label called “Sign From the Universe” found me. At 15 I signed with them and began recording my first EP with Stefan Skarbek and Stephen Barnes. This was my first ever pop release, which amassed 1.5 million streams in just a couple of months. I am now constantly releasing music and traveling around the globe to play shows!

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Social Media has been a very very hard journey. It can be extremely discouraging and it wasn’t working for me ,for years. Until one day I started really putting in the work. The best advice I can give is “POST POST POST”. I now post 2 times a day on tik tok and 1 time a day on instagram. The more consistent you are the more rewarded you are. Just within 3 months of consistently posting I have gained close to 15k on each platform! Don’t be discouraged because a post will do well eventually, it just takes a little time!

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
I wish I knew how much of a resource social media is as an artist. There are millions of people on one platform that could become fans from your posts. I never took social media seriously until recently, but it is such a good resource to meet other artists, find inspiration, and most importantly find your audience!
