We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Sade Moore a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Sade thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?

I move with intention when it comes to my profession; I look at most things I do as meaningful. I am a journalist and do content creation. I tell stories with integrity and create lifestyle and travel content to encourage and inspire my supporters.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I majored in communications. After graduating, I started as an intern for this entertainment blog and then went on to be a beat reporter for the Los Angeles Clippers. That was a cool experience because I had never been into sports beyond just watching them on television at home with my uncle and siblings. Then I transitioned into beauty and lifestyle contributing for Sheen Magazine. I don’t compare myself to others. I believe everyone has their own timing and success in their own ways, so what sets me apart is my mindset. I am proud of my body of work and hope my supporters are inspired by my work.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

I like the ability to be creative and bring my vision to life. It’s a lot of work but rewarding when you get to see your work published online or in a print publication that’s on shelves in stores.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

Since being a kid, I have always known that I would work in a creative field. It’s reasonable to say that topics like fashion, beauty, and journalism have always piqued my interest because I used to constantly keep up with the latest entertainment news, style my clothes, cut magazines, and construct vision boards.
